まち宿-machi yard-

This accomodation far exceeded my expectations. I anticipated more of a basic guesthouse but this was very refined, impeccably neat and clean, super well kept and modern (scandi? with black metal features). You can tell the owner paid a lot of attention to little extras beyond the basics, for example, a little loofah and personal bathmat and face towel, not just a bath towel in a little basket in your room, and a lovely setup in the bathroom with cotton pads, nice hairdryers in holders, and very nice soaps and shampoo/conditioner. The place also had a lot of nice features like codepads for each room, adjustable shower heads, comfortable pillows and bed in excellent condition, and a plug integrated into the bedframe. The owner was also very lovely, friendly, and helpful and I suspect she tries to personally greet every guest on their arrival and departure. Parking was also ample and easy directly behind the building. Would stay again in a heartbeat!!

On my first night, a man (presumably the other owner? or partner/family member of the owner, someone who had access to the code to my room opened the door to my room, clearly expecting noone to be in there. Luckily I was dressed and just chilling in bed and he was very startled and apologetic and it really wasn't a huge deal but just something to be a bit more careful about. Also on my second night, one of the showers were not working, but the other one was free so I just used that one. I'd assume it was very newly broken because someone was using it the previous night, and I suspect it would get fixed very quickly. Finally, a second pillow would be a godsend for me personally but that's just a personal preference!

Super clean and everything that you might need during your stay. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, fridge in the room, comfy beds. Helpful staff, highly recommend 🌟

Walking distance from the station but we knew it’s going to be half an hour walking so not really I thing to complain about :)

Out of the city away from crowds. We had a giant room that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Nothing.
