Stayed here for 1 night as a pit stop before we traveled to Magome and Tsamago. Great location, easily walkable from the train station, place and room was quaint and clean. Recommended.

Location: Not quite near to Nakatsugawa Station but i think it is one of the nearest hostels to the station in the area. Facilities are good for a hostel. It is clean, well maintained, and it is not cramped at all. There are two bathrooms and two restrooms in the dormitory. When checking in, you will need to go to the Meet Tree. However, if you would like to leave your luggage earlier in the day, Meet Tree is closed and there is no one there to get your luggage. This caused some delay so I had to go to the nearby store to call the Meet Tree attendant. Overall, this is great for those who want to get cheap accommodation while staying within the Nakasendo trail.

Room was spacious and clean. Shower in suite was a nice perk. Toilets were shared. Only complaint is that the communication. As a traveller being able to drop my larger bags off early is kind of essential and I checked in advance if I could. They said yes. And then no one was at the hotel - it’s locked up.
