Gorgeous location, can’t wait to return. The guesthouse was gorgeous and comfortable and the shared bathrooms were clean and private.
I don’t think there was an option for a queen bed, just large bunks but they were wide singles and very comfortable mattresses (not too soft; they’re a good mid-firm like most mattresses in Japan where we stayed).

Very nice and cozy
The noise. The walls are thin. But there is already a sign put up letting us know .

Nedoko what a wonderful surprise, perfectly located in the centre of Magome, right on the Nakasendo trail. The beds were incredibly comfortable, we slept like babies, the facilities were spotlessly clean and our host was wonderful. She also gave us a great recommendation for dinner at Haginoya - highly recommended. Note that dinner places are very limited so be sure to book. This was the perfect stop on our first night on the trail.

Absolutely amazing. It’s a beautiful place with the most amazing views. The view from our room was breathtaking. It’s so nicely decorated and the host was so lovely and helps with everything you need. We were only here for one night but would have loved to stay longer! We had a lovely experience and the best time. It’s even better than it looks in the pictures and the location of the accommodation is 10/10.
