Worst experience ever

Location

Very bad experience. Zero customer satisfaction focus. We got a room with a lot of noise. People were shouting starting at 7 am daily (stayed for 8 nights). Very uncomfortable room, small and bad beds. No soap, no towel, etc. several times we asked for service , no answer. Manger was never available. One night we were treated very bad. My wife got an ankle operation recently and we were asked not to use Parkinson’s slot for handicapped. With a very rude attitude, almost offensive, we were asked to move because that was “their orders”. Super bad experience. I asked for a refund and until then they offered to move Ud to another room, which was better but problems continued. Basic things like no toothbrush availability for customers, they sent us to a Vending machine which didn’t work so they sent us to a pharmacy, a outside the facilities. Definitely recommend NOT TO STAY HERE. Very bad experience. Brand that this hotel is carrying should be ashamed of the service leve. More than ashamed, they should be worried because is is harming their brand value. Booking.com should also consider having this hotel as an option - it erodes trust. Never again

Very average!

The hotel is ok but a bit round down!

It was very noisy all day! the breakfast was average and cold and the tablecloth’s tables very dirty The shower had very poor flow of water, a joke! I talk with the manager and she was very helpful to upgrade our bedrooms !

The room was nothing like the photograhs. Since we were taking pets, I called twice to the hotel to verify that it was OK. They never mentioned that they would give us a dungeon without windows for a "pet friendly" room. When we complained when we saw the room, they said that the rooms with windows were the "luxury" rooms, not available for pets. However, they did charge us extra for the pets although giving us a cave for a room.

Good looking hotel, charming, stylish, good location, buffet breakfast with every day variety, restaurant, helpful staff, swimming pool.

Mold contamination is a common problem in Xalapa. One room had strong smell, we started coughing and asked for another room. It did not smell as bad, so we stayed for a while keeping balcony door open. Some rooms have windows opening into a ventilation shaft. You can hear and smell all your neighbours. Other rooms have balconies with the grand view of Orizaba peak. I recommend the latter. One lightbulb was missing. Power circuit is ungrounded, which may be typical for older buildings. Keep it in mind if you travel with sensitive electronics.

It was ok

- the pool - big spacious room - comfortable bed - nice view from hotel, liked the architecture - parking

- strange shower with just tube coming out. No place to put toiletries there. - breakfast not so good. It felt more like a punishment. Chilaquiles had some peculiar lemon taste - we had reservation through booking but still we had to fill all details about us through some of their phone app. Quite annoying, prolonged the check in process which was not necessary..
