The hotel was very quaint and charming. The staff was really sweet and helpful. It was located around great restaurants and cafes, all within walking distance.

A gem in a very cool city

It is a quiet property that has beautifully maintained patios and many outdoor seats to enjoy them! They offer all the services you need: breakfast, water for refilling your bottles, laundry service, etc. There is lots of hot water and water pressure. Everyone is very polite, even other guests.

Xalapa is extremely hilly and the hotel’s street is typical of that.

Lovely quaint hotel for a stay in Xalapa.

It is a lovely old style property. The gardens were lovely, and it was very peaceful when we were there. The breakfast was good and the service by the lady there was friendly. It is a bit more expensive than going out, but you have the blessing of having it right there.

The receptionist was helpful when pushed to be, but not friendly. We were asked to sign to say we would pay for any damage we caused, which is fine, but when we asked they check the room before we left to ensure there was no damage and subsequently return the form to us the receptionist wouldn’t, giving various strange reasons.

Parking lot in front of the hotel, my room was comfortable, clear, everything worked well, in a good location near downtown and other attractions. They have water containers to fill your drinking bottles.

The breakfast was ok, but nothing special.

Charming, spotless hotel with garden on a quiet street with a safe garage for our car.

This hotel on a very quiet little side street is spotless and features a beautiful inner garden and upstairs patio for hanging out. Conveniently located. Good value. Coffee pot with free coffee in our room each morning. Separate little restaurant for breakfast downstairs. Nice hot shower, tiled bathroom with toilet is eparate from tiled shower.

Internet connections on second floor where our room was were non existent. Bed was a bit hard for my taste. Street is very narrow and beware of one way streets in this hilly town if driving.

Really lovely surroundings, beautiful inner courtyard. Extremely comfy beds and nice atmosphere. It’s well located and I’d definitely recommend it to friends.

The guy on the front desk was a bit serious! But helpful :) There was only a fan (no air con) in our room but it was fine.

The room was perfect for us - just off the garden / courtyard area. Water was easily accessible and the breakfast was incredible!!! All hotel staff were very kind and helpful as we first navigated the area.

poorly built for the purpose. could not close the door without slamming it which easily offend next room guest. ( need to change the lock system). walls and ceilings so thin you can’t hardly talk with your partner.

Wonderful hotel

We loved the overall atmosphere of the hotel. The location was centrally located but on a quiet street. We could easily find free street parking for the duration of our stay. The breakfast was made to order, which we appreciated due to our food restrictions. Helpful and friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable.

A good 2 night stay in xalapa

Colonial architecture, lovely garden, breakfast services, helpful staff , with all facilities working well . Hot water, wifi etc...quiet , excellent mattress and linens

The location whilst quiet was a bit out of the way and the sidewalk was elevated and narrow with a drop off. Lots of traffic and hard to.cross the street. It's the nature of a busy city built on hills but not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. I was fine but had to be careful especially at night. No fault of the hotel which I would recommend.

Totally excellent hotel.

This is an excellent hotel. Immaculately clean and well maintained. The staff are very friendly and the place is really well run. Great location, close to the centre, but quiet at night. Great garden to sit in and tasty breakfast on site. Our best hotel in 6 weeks of travelling in Mexico and a great price. We stayed a week!

Cute boutique hotel for a great price

Darling little boutique hotel in a convenient area of town. Staff were really accommodating, since I had messed up on my booking dates. They were able to put me in a lovely little room with tons of atmosphere right on the garden. The shower was amazing – plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Parking was on the street but right outside the door, and the front desk staff could watch it via the security camera

it was rainy and a bit chilly when I visited in early September, and the tile floors were cold under foot. I don’t think it would feel very comfortable in the middle of winter, and I didn’t see any way to heat the room. But there was an extra blanket, which I didn’t need, so at least you’d sleep warm.

Cute hotel, not all rooms are as nice as the photos

I liked the location and the hotel in general. The gardens are very pretty and everything it's clean

The photos in here make the rooms look really nice and to be honest, the room we stayed at wasn't that nice or big. At least it was clean and the bed was comfy. My mom arrived a couple of hours later than me and even when she gave the staff my name, they wouldn't let her in, she had to call me and I had to go down to the lobby. I had let the guy know when I arrived that she would arrive later and he told me that just giving my name was enough. It felt rude.
