Weekend trip

The room was clean and fresh. The staff were pleasant and the service in the dinning room was good. El. cuarto estaba limpio y fresco. El personal era agradable y el servicio en el comedor era bueno.

I did not recive the type of bed that was specified my reservation. I had to pay an additional amount to recive the bed that was requested. No recibí el tipo de cama que tenía especificado en mi reservacion. Tuve que pagar adicionalmente para recibir la cama que solicitaba.

Good value room for a night or two. I would stay there again.

Excellent value. It's a charming little hotel if you get he right room, could be depressing if you don't. Ask for a room with a window facing the street, it makes all the difference. The girl at the front desk was fantastic. I arrived early and was given a room. It was an inside room and had no window. I asked for a different room and she gave me a room facing the street (those rooms have small step out balconies and windows). This is a no frills place on a street a few blocks from centro, but offers great value and an excellent staff. Clean. Friendly. Free continental breakfast. I was happy with it and would stay there again (as long as I can get a room with a window). Early check in time at 1:00 was a major bonus.

No a/c in the room so if that's a priority, you will not be happy. Inside room had a fan. Outside room had ample air flow from outdoors. Small bathroom but good hot water and water pressure, so it was not an issue. In a good neighborhood, but not in the middle of the action, so you'll need a taxi or walk a few blocks. No English from the staff I met. It didn't bother me because they were friendly and let me fumble through my Spanish, but if English is priority, you might be out of luck.

Very nice hotel

The hotel is confortable, even if not refined in every detail, and the bed is very good. The food of the restaurant combined with the hotel is good and the room service is available and free. The WIFI is good. I had a lot of problem in connecting my PC to the net, DNS wasn't resolving anything, but the staff solved the problem in 10-15 minutes. Positive!

Unfortunately in the hotel there was a group of young guys that made a lot of noise, both evening and the morning, and the staff didn't intervened to raise down the volume. My room didn't have a window to the outside, but only an internal one. The staff does NOT speak english. I don't have much problem because, being italian, I understand spanish as the two languages are quite similar but if you work in the world of tourism you MUST know and speak english. The position of the hotel is in a bending hill. I didn't park in front of it because I judged making operations to park too dangerous for the risk of other cars coming down the road and possibly hitting me.

Una muy mala experiencia

He calificado mal al hotel ya que desafortunadamente el mismo día que llegué me llaman de recepción diciendo que tengo una llamada de una persona de nombre Guadalupe, a lo cual contesté desconocer esa persona y me dice que preguntó por mi nombre, insisto en que no la conozco y aún así me la comunican. Dicha persona se identifica como administradora del hotel y me informa que el hotel está haciendo revisado por la policía y que allí se encuentra el comandante (me dieron nombre pero no lo recuerdo) Y qué lo va a comunicar conmigo pero antes de eso me dice que cuando me registré no anote mi número telefónico a lo cual yo contesto que no me fue solicitado y como la llamada se escuchaba muy mal me pide mi número y yo se lo doy. En ese momento no capté el primer error. Enseguida me comunica con el comandante (?) y me comenta que están haciendo una una inspección en el hotel por qué encontraron una camioneta blanca con placas de Jalisco y cómo nosotras llegamos ese día que si esa camioneta nos pertenece, respondo negativo. Me dice que no salga del cuarto, y me comenta que si la persona que acaba de salir es mi hermana. El comandante empieza a hacerme una serie de preguntas que de dónde veníamos, y cuál era el motivo de nuestra visita pero en ese momento regresa mi hermana con la recepcionista y me dice cuelgue yo la veo y repite cuelgue y lo hago y ella me dice es una estafa. Me asusto y pregunto a dónde lo reporto yo ya responde que no, que a ella le pasó lo mismo, que tiene una amiga y le va a preguntar qué hacer.

Le dije a la recepcionista que ya no nos quedaríamos en el hotel y que quería me cobrara esa noche aunque no la utilizáramos pero que me devolviera las dos noches siguientes a lo cual contestó que ya no podía hacer eso que no me podía devolver nada

Me encantó que estuviera en una zona tranquila, tanto cercana al centro histórico como del CAXA. El trato de sus colaboradores es excelente: muy amables, cordiales y atentos. La limpieza de la habitación otro aspecto importante… excelente; y las otras amenidades/servicios sin costo adicional, de maravilla. Súper recomendable para vivir esa experiencia agradable en Xalapa. P.d: El restaurante del hotel, mis respetos.

Las habitaciones, tienen instalaciones muy viejas, el ropero antes era un baño , no trataron de cubrirlo para disimular. Para la limpieza se útiles el exceso cloro, los colchones muy viejos

Solo la ubicación

La habitación está demasiado pequeña para tres personas solo me proporcionaron un ventilador y el cuarto carece de ventilación, da hacia la calle y hay demasiado ruido por la noche , no se puede dormir bien…el desayuno incluido el primer día me hizo daño, por lo que solo tomé café y ya no lo consumi en los días posteriores … y la administración no fue para ofrecer otras opciones o reembolso … solo tomé café y en dos ocasiónes me lo cobraron aparte. Solicité 3 toallas adicionales que me las cobraron y solo me las dieron una vez …las otras veces tuve que ir a reclamarlas, el hotel es PET friendly pero no mencionan el costo por día de tu mascota , hasta mi llegada me cobraron 250 por día.

Absolutamente nada, la habitación parecía celda, el colchón sumamente incómodo, y el baño con una limpieza deficiente

Nada, jamás volvería a hospedarme en ese hotel, pensamos que el "desayuno de cortesía" salvaría el hospedaje, pero nos dieron unos huevos revueltos todos quemados. Pésima, Pésima atención.

La ubicación con respecto a los asuntos que fui a Xalapa. Limpieza, iluminacion natural.

El baño de la habitación que me ofrecieron es infame (apenas cabe una persona de pie), si utilizo el escusado mis rodillas pegan en la pared. El WiFi es muy malo, no pude enviar archivos, ni descargar lo que me enviaban debido a su baja señal. El colchón y almohadas son muy incómodas, No tiene una mesa de trabajo como tal para usar una laptop (tuve que improvisar). Hay un sillon dentro del cuarto, cuyo relleno es de adorno ya que al sentarse mi trasero pega con una tabla.
