The hotel is cozy, the rooms are very clean, and the staff is pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast was a lovely surprise, offering everything from traditional homemade dishes to American-style options. This is a place I would happily return to if I’m in the area again. I stayed at the hotel on two occasions during my time in Craiova: once at the main hotel and once at the adjacent villa, located just a few minutes away. The hotel owner was kind enough to personally drive me to the villa. The room in the villa was smaller compared to the main hotel, but everything was new, minimalist, and very stylish. It felt warm, welcoming, and cozy.

I dont have anything negative to say about my stay at this hotel.

Great Hotel, inside superbe, employees very friendly, for the price it is an amzing place to be. Diner perfecrt, Breakfast really amazing, never seen before, so rich and special. Paking space limited, but you can park on the street. Camara security.

A short but perfect stay.

A lovely, spacious, comfortable room. I was late in arriving and emailed the hotel to confirm that late night check-in would be possible. Andrei on reception could not have been more helpful and welcoming, providing me with facilities to consume the take-away meal I had purchased nearby. He also offered a choice of cold beers, which was most welcome after a long hot day’s travel. The breakfast was excellent: some of the best croissants I have ever eaten.

I liked the environment.I The furniture has style. The staff is quite friendly.

It was very cold, the sanitary items are old, the linen and towels are worn and washed with a strong perfumed detergent. On the first evening, the hot water did not reach the second floor.The refrigerator is degraded so you prefer not to use it. The window in the bathroom, if you want to open it, you have to climb on the toilet bowl, and the windowsill is extremely dirty.

great base for a visit to Craiova and district - wish I’d been there longer

the staff are helpful - I use a stick and they took my bag up to the room (up about 30 steps over 2 floors) but not down which was tricky. all very kind tho and the location was good for the old town as well as the station (1st time in Romania and I walked there but hot and a bit of a hill / should have taken a taxi for 4€ish). breakfast was a good variety with bread hot food and hot milk for the coffee 😊

hadn’t see a shower tap like that before so needed help (you really don’t want to break anything at a hotel do you?!) but the receptionist came up and showed me. not keen on all the stairs but I hadn’t expected so many so steep!

Confortable, clean and reasonably priced.

A nice clean and comfortable room and very helpful and courteous staff. A quick and easy walk in to the centre of Craiova. Fresh coffee and a 4 am taxi was waiting for me to get to the airport. Very reasonably priced too.

The shower was a bit under powered. Otherwise all clean and comfortable.

The only good point I can find is that they have several parking places in the yard and I was lucky to find one for my car.

The hotel is looking back for his young days. That means used rooms and spaces at the price of new hotels in other cities. Unfortunately this is my experience with most of Craiova's central accommodations. That means oversized prices for what is offered. For the breakfast the same comment, not much and especially no quality for the offered products.

Comfortable bed, clean room. Free parking available on the street in front of the Hotel. Arrived very late, i called reception and inform them that i will be delayed, very communicative. Fast check in.

Low water pressure for the shower. Room was smallest that i stayed until now in Craiova. Step stairs to second floor, same aged people may find them difficult.

Bad treatment from the staff..especially the reception employee was very rude..not responding to customers' requests..I asked them for a mattress cover several times and I didn't get anything, they even charged me for a mattress on the floor for a child even though they told me it was free when I asked for it... I never recommend this hotel

Had the potential to be a great choice but let down by a number of details

Great location, big room/suite, nicely decorated. Helpful receptionist on checking out.

Wifi coverage very poor, worked intermittently only 30% of the time. No bottle of water on arrival. No tea or coffee facility in room. Shower not functioning properly.

Terrific clean historic hotel

The hotel is an old mansion . It might be slightly difficult for elderly or disabled people as there are stairs (lots of stairs). But the room was large and very clean. Water pressure in the shower was okay. They upgraded my musician friend to a larger, nicer room and provided the fruit bowl I had requested. The breakfast included eggs, sausages, bacon, cereal, coffee, juices and pastries. Self service buffet style. Not to mention cold meats and cheeses and bread. It was filling and delicious. They washed my clothes for an additional charge but returned them the same day. I am very glad we decided to stay here.

It is not right next to a grocery. But there is a MyAuchan (grocery store) just 5 minutes walk away.

Exceptional

Room was spacious, bed was comfortable; bath could use a refurbish but all worked well. Wifi was just amazing, 53 Mbps download speed. Breakfast was decent for the money spent.
