Breakfast was excellent. Location was on a quiet side street, with a restaurant and supermarket nearby. Location was not far from the railroad station.

Last minute booking, turned out to be a great find

It was clean and comfortable. The staff were really helpful. We had to leave early in the morning, before breakfast, to catch a flight. Staff were very kind and got us some fruit from the kitchen for our toddler

Perfect stay in Craiova

A great hotel in Craiova. There is free parking right outside the hotel in a secure area. The receptionist has to let you in. The room was very big and had a lovely, big comfortable bed. Its spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a one night stay including a fridge. There is also aircon and the room was centrally heated. A TV on the wall. A large bathroom and large shower with lots of hot water. There is also a desk. Great wifi. We had the breakfast included and there was a lot to choose from. The coffee machine did great coffee too and it was hot!

Our check-in experience, our first impression of the hotel, was not good. The young woman at the desk (at 2 pm 5/18) seemed to have an attitude. She must not have looked at our reservation, because she gave me a key to an apartment, and I said we should have two rooms (we were four people), she said, "You have an apartment!" So, I thought the "apartment" must have two bedrooms, which is what we needed. She did not tell us there was a small elevator, so we carried all our luggage up two flights, and saw that the "apartment" only had one bedroom. Then I looked at my confirmation email, and went back down to the desk, and showed it to her. Then she gave us another key for another room nearby, but tried to blame me for not telling her we had two rooms. This was a very disappointing start to an otherwise nice hotel stay. The other staff with whom we had contact were nice and professional.

Not that great!

Our experience at this hotel wasn't that great. We chose The Arlington Boutique Hotel for the great reviews on Booking.com. despite the high prices for the not so popular area the hotel is situated in. But, there were many issues we had on our stay. Except for Ioana from reception, everyone else is pretty miserable. They don't know how to smile and how to greet guests when they walk through the reception area. Because they didn't have many guests in the hotel at the time, breakfast was not served as a buffet on a couple of mornings, and there were very limited options. Also, the entire week, they served the same things. In our room, I had to ask for the dust to be wiped from the only wardrobe in the room. Dust, which probably wasn't wiped since they fited that wardrobe in the room. It was very strong wind on a couple of nights, and the noises in our room were like in a horror movie over the entire night, making it hard to sleep. Also, I requested at the reception to add to our room two extra towels, when they clean, because we only had the room done three times in the seven nights we stayed there, and they fulfilled my request only once. The list can be much longer. I'm very disappointed.

No restaurant. No welcome. Rude staff. Breakfast not available as arranged. This is a guest house, not a hotel, and it’s far from 4*.

Hair dryer was horrible, it’s air flow was very slow. They didn’t replace drinking water. Sheets weren’t changed second day after I stain with coffee. 10-15mins walking to restaurant area.

Nice room with a cute little balcony. The espresso pods and espresso machine in the room were a very nice touch. The continental breakfast was OK tho not very diverse. Good value for money.

We got one pair of slippers, one bathrobe, and one shower cap for two guests (but plenty of towels for two) which made for a fun guessing game as to whom should wear what. :D Our room faced a distant industrial building and there was a loudish noise in the morning when we took our coffee on the balcony. We didn't experience this at night luckily so our sleep was restful.

Big, clean and comfortable room

The room is spacious, clean and very comfy. It has a minibar, air conditioning, coffee maker with coffee and water on the house. The bathroom is also clean and has shower gel, shampoo, soap, clean towels and bathrobes. Breakfast is included with good coffee and great orange juice. Because we arrived late at breakfast the omelette was cold. The front desk is open 24h, we arrived after midnight and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
