Hunters Lodge Guest House

Very pretty property but room was tiny

Very flat uncomfortable possibly old pillows, barely slept a wink. need pillow upgrades very much.

Shame breakfast wasn’t available

Hunters Lodge was nicely located with easy Free parking in front of the building and there are more parking spaces at the back, They operate with an easy self access via a code at the door supplied via an email when you book your stay, there is mobile number supplied by the owner if you need any help and she is really nice and friendly. Our room was in the ground floor very clean nice size bright with a large window and big comfortable bed with plenty of storage spaces including a double wardrobe and few draw units. It has a tray with kettle and coffee/tea/milk plus it has a Hair Dryer and they supplied 2 bath towels you could get more towels if you ask,. the shower was nice and powerful but the shower head need changing as it's annoying and old. Outside on the ground floor there is a good size lounge and bar which was closed unfortunately closed all the weekend which is a shame?? and also at the back of the building there is a dinner again no food was served all weekend? .Over all we liked our stay

They need to make sure that someone is there in the morning to serve breakfast and help customers if they need more coffee/ tea/ milk/ or even if they need new towels as there was no one in attendance and some American tourists needed breakfast but nothing was there for them. On the ground floor there is a good size lounge and bar which was unfortunately closed all the time we stayed there which is a shame?? Also at the back of the building there is a dinner with many tables again no service during our stay which is a shame?

Comfy bed.

Didn't see any members of staff. No continental breakfast.my
