Perfect location away from the hustle

Disappointing

The pool was lovely and the room was fine.

The beach was all torn up with construction. They should have informed guests ahead of time. They claimed to be less than 50% capacity yet put my room all the way in the far back from the beach, main buildings, and pool. They did not have the live performance that they advertise every week due to low capacity. They didn't care about the guests they actually had staying and honoring what was advertised. The manager basically made me feel like I didn't matter at all because there was less than 20 people. Apparently those of us who were there didn't count.

Only takes one thing to ruin the stay

1 king 2 single room. The facilities from the lobby to the beach, food, pools etc are OK, staff are helpful. Breakfast was a buffet, IMO it was OK but not great. We stayed here because it was close to the airport and we had been burnt before by staying at Kuta in the last days and taking a long time to get to the airport.

Even though the staff did take this issue seriously and addressed it by moving us to a new (better) room I need to give a low score to emphasis that it should never have happened. Our villa has a master room and then two single beds in the lounge. The room did smell when we returned home later in the evening but we just put it down to no air con while we were out. The kids woke up about mid-night saying the bed stank and they could not sleep. I have a look and the smell from the portable beds they had provided us was foul. It was and animal / animal urine smell. Very foul We put the bed bases outside straight away and the kids slept on the matresses on the floor. The smell went away as soon as the bed bases were outside. My guess is someone grabbed two portable beds from a storage room (that obviously was not clean) and put them in our room. In the light the next morning you could clearly see big stains on each bed, As I said, the hotel did address the issue the next morning but for the hygiene of the guests this should never have happened.

Great Bali layover option

It is definetly a great option for a long layover/short stay in Bali, nice swimming pool area and plenty for kids with not much expectation

Great resort. Gardens were beautiful and well maintained. Rooms were spacious, comfy and well appointed. Staff were friendly. Buffett breakfast was impressive. Main pool was very large and there was always enough space and sunbeds. Would highly recommend.

A fantastic short break

Room - excellent. Staff - go above and beyond. Food - excellent. Pool area - excellent. All areas spotless. The golf buggy availability for getting to/from your room in the event of adverse weather is a bonus. Proximity to main area of food, entertainment etc is ideal.

The public beach in front of the hotel could have been cleaner.

Great for honeymoon

It’s my daughter honeymoon treat. It’s very welcoming and well decorated since it’s honeymoon request. The room kind of old need some upgrading. Tap not functioning properly. Over was great.

The beach are dirty with lot of rubbish. Not recommended for swimming.

Great Room, Great Service

We had pre-organised a Romantic Dinner and it exceeded expectations they went above and beyond to make our night special for our 25th Anniversary, music, dancers and a great meal Absolutely Amazing!

Very good location if you want to be near the airport. Nice resort and in better shape than most of the other resorts near by. Due to the airport proximity, very silent and quite. A bit older but they are renovating and keeping the garden very nice.

It seems that aircondition in the villa needs to be cleaned and desinfected. We had some issues because of it.

Late checkout and use of facilities until our plane left.

Less intrusive music in the pool areas. Very invasive and very difficult to get away from even at lunch. The main pool was under reconstruction which didn't help.

The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good.

The room was really noisy with airconditioner rattling, fridge motor and pool filter all night. The outdoor lights also were annoying. The spa was closed, the villa pool unattended and the Japanese restaurant closed. I don't think this is a 5 star resort. Maybe 4 star, but the facilities are only 3 star.

We had a perfect couple of days to start our Bali holiday. We will definitely stay again

We absolutely loved the breakfast, pool and surroundings. This resort was so close to the airport that our family walked to check in. Our family room was very spacious and clean providing much privacy and comfort for all of us. We were all impressed with the size of the pool and the amount of chairs surrounding it.

A couple of us used the spa services, this looked like it was in a vacant room, hopefully the construction in the surrounding area is actually improving the spa services which will be much more luxurious and relaxing.

Proximity to airports

Looking quite shabby. No pool service at second pool. Not even towels despite detour around building works to get towels from the main pool. Having to go to lobby for food boxes which weren’t ready so then then decided they could be delivered to the room.

So called '5 star hotel' is not worth the hype with poor customer service

Seriously this so called 5 star hotel is not worth the hype. Breakfast and 8 minutes away to the airport where the only two good factors about this place.

Customer service is very poor with no welcoming or warmth. We have been in Jimbaran bay beach hotel for 5 days, its a 4 star hotel which has great staff with a big smiles at all times. Here bell boys are much better than reception staff in terms of hospitality. Lady receptionist named 'Widi' is very arrogant and rude, she hesitated to even talk about facilities before the payment, pushed me to pay first. Restaurant has less options, everytime you request a bell boy for pick up it takes around 10 minutes. Deluxe suite has plenty of mosquitoes inside. Beds were not that comfortable too.

Handy location for a stopover to the airport.

We only stayed one night to catch a flight. The beach out the front was not very nice but the pool looked inviting and the breakfast had a big selection.

The rooms are a bit dated and very spread out, it can take a long walk to get to some of the rooms.

Beautiful hotel in a great location for short stay!

We loved everything about this hotel! We have never stayed this end of Kuta but on a last minute decision to come to Bali for a long weekend we were pleasantly surprised. The grounds are beautiful, we were upgraded to a garden villa as there was construction on grounds (which we never heard by the way) the villa was huge and had a little courtyard. The breakfast was standard for a Bali hotel but the two pools were beautiful. Great location being a 5 minute (hotel) taxi ride from the heart of Kuta and next door to the airport so we could make the most of the time we had. The beach is also clean and there were many people swimming there. Would definately recommend this hotel if you have a layover or a short stay in Bali to maximise your time!

Booking.com stated the hotel had a “fitness centre” however it is simply an old hotel room with a treadmill(out of order), cross trainer and weights that looked like they had seen much better days. There was no water in the room or towels.

Horribly run resort by incompetent staff.

It was beautiful, but the service was so bad it didn’t matter.

The staff was incompetent, couldn’t get any food orders, correct, extremely slow, kept blocking us out of our room when we repeatedly said, do not lock the back door. Didn’t clean our room one day and then took like an hour to come clean it. But the worst was right outside of our door they put up this private dinner with extremely loud music and big subwoofers and our whole room was shaking for five hours. Everyone was complaining, it just did not make any sense to have a rock concert right outside of our rooms where literally the walls, paintings and glass was shaking for five hours. And none of them were smart enough to even understand why this was unacceptable in a five star resort. They offered to give us another room further away, but by the time they could get it ready, the music was already almost over. Honestly, I’ve never seen slower and less intelligent people in my entire life. This resort is absolutely absolutely terrible and I would barely give it three stars, if that.

The resort was nice and comfortable but regular maintenance is required.

Very close to the airport with a large beach front access, great swimming pools and restaurants. The deluxe suite was very large and comfortable.

The bathroom had a leaking tap in the wash basin and toilet. On the last day of our stay there was no hot water in the bathroom and was not looked at after numerous requests. The lock to the sliding doors to the main balcony was broken and the resort were aware and said it would be fixed but no maintenance was done.

Very relaxing. Totally enjoyed our stay.

The property is very well kept. Very neat and tidy. And has amazing swimming pools. The staff are also super friendly and cannot do enough for you. It is also right on the beach. It is right next to the airport which makes getting Transport very easy.

Our room was worn out and require renovation. The bathroom taps barely worked the basin and toilet were dirty and heavily stained and the floors and shower cubicle had so much dirty silicone it was horrible. Room itself the wooden furniture was stained and broken in many places. The bed was comfortable but the AC was pretty ineffective. Definitely not worth what we paid for one night. Would not use this hotel again!

Buffet breakfast was amazing. Staff very helpful and friendly. 3 pools to choose from all with plenty of day beds. LOCATION TO AIRPORT fabulous. Entertainment most afternoon and evenings we stayed. Special shout out to Adiatia. Our room was spotless. Thks for the Elephant Towel. Hargh

BBQ on beach front needs a bit of professional help smoke can be very over powering. A lot of Baymaries we empty by the time we lined up. . But full credit to the staff within 20mins they were refilled.
