Disappointing. Because of the traffic we probably could have stayed somewhere nicer for the price.

Proximity to airports

Looking quite shabby. No pool service at second pool. Not even towels despite detour around building works to get towels from the main pool. Having to go to lobby for food boxes which weren’t ready so then then decided they could be delivered to the room.

So called '5 star hotel' is not worth the hype with poor customer service

Seriously this so called 5 star hotel is not worth the hype. Breakfast and 8 minutes away to the airport where the only two good factors about this place.

Customer service is very poor with no welcoming or warmth. We have been in Jimbaran bay beach hotel for 5 days, its a 4 star hotel which has great staff with a big smiles at all times. Here bell boys are much better than reception staff in terms of hospitality. Lady receptionist named 'Widi' is very arrogant and rude, she hesitated to even talk about facilities before the payment, pushed me to pay first. Restaurant has less options, everytime you request a bell boy for pick up it takes around 10 minutes. Deluxe suite has plenty of mosquitoes inside. Beds were not that comfortable too.

Non è il tipo di struttura che si contraddistingue per la tradizione o la preservazione delle caratteristiche locali. Piuttosto è molto attrattivo per turisti che cercano comfort nella piscina e le strutture di divertimento che potrebbero trovarsi in qualsiasi altro paese. Bali è molto altro. Benissimo però come stop over vicino all'aeroporto.

Handy location for a stopover to the airport.

We only stayed one night to catch a flight. The beach out the front was not very nice but the pool looked inviting and the breakfast had a big selection.

The rooms are a bit dated and very spread out, it can take a long walk to get to some of the rooms.

Beautiful hotel in a great location for short stay!

We loved everything about this hotel! We have never stayed this end of Kuta but on a last minute decision to come to Bali for a long weekend we were pleasantly surprised. The grounds are beautiful, we were upgraded to a garden villa as there was construction on grounds (which we never heard by the way) the villa was huge and had a little courtyard. The breakfast was standard for a Bali hotel but the two pools were beautiful. Great location being a 5 minute (hotel) taxi ride from the heart of Kuta and next door to the airport so we could make the most of the time we had. The beach is also clean and there were many people swimming there. Would definately recommend this hotel if you have a layover or a short stay in Bali to maximise your time!

Booking.com stated the hotel had a “fitness centre” however it is simply an old hotel room with a treadmill(out of order), cross trainer and weights that looked like they had seen much better days. There was no water in the room or towels.

Horribly run resort by incompetent staff.

It was beautiful, but the service was so bad it didn’t matter.

The staff was incompetent, couldn’t get any food orders, correct, extremely slow, kept blocking us out of our room when we repeatedly said, do not lock the back door. Didn’t clean our room one day and then took like an hour to come clean it. But the worst was right outside of our door they put up this private dinner with extremely loud music and big subwoofers and our whole room was shaking for five hours. Everyone was complaining, it just did not make any sense to have a rock concert right outside of our rooms where literally the walls, paintings and glass was shaking for five hours. And none of them were smart enough to even understand why this was unacceptable in a five star resort. They offered to give us another room further away, but by the time they could get it ready, the music was already almost over. Honestly, I’ve never seen slower and less intelligent people in my entire life. This resort is absolutely absolutely terrible and I would barely give it three stars, if that.

The resort was nice and comfortable but regular maintenance is required.

Very close to the airport with a large beach front access, great swimming pools and restaurants. The deluxe suite was very large and comfortable.

The bathroom had a leaking tap in the wash basin and toilet. On the last day of our stay there was no hot water in the bathroom and was not looked at after numerous requests. The lock to the sliding doors to the main balcony was broken and the resort were aware and said it would be fixed but no maintenance was done.

Ontbijt is goed maar erg druk en massaal. Hierdoor moet je regelmatig wachten tot het eten is aangevuld. Het resort is erg groot, je kan wel met het golfkarretje gebracht en gehaald worden. Goede massage salon in de buurt

The large pool areas were great and very clean , can’t fault them.

The rooms were in definatly in need of updating and we had a suite,felt a bit unclean in areas and grounds needed abit of a tidy up whilst I do appreciate there is work been done in grounds .bit expensive at bar and restaurants.

The property is very well kept. Very neat and tidy. And has amazing swimming pools. The staff are also super friendly and cannot do enough for you. It is also right on the beach. It is right next to the airport which makes getting Transport very easy.

Our room was worn out and require renovation. The bathroom taps barely worked the basin and toilet were dirty and heavily stained and the floors and shower cubicle had so much dirty silicone it was horrible. Room itself the wooden furniture was stained and broken in many places. The bed was comfortable but the AC was pretty ineffective. Definitely not worth what we paid for one night. Would not use this hotel again!

Die 4 Nächte zum Schluss unserer Reise waren ok im The Patra, wir würden aber nicht nochmal buchen.

Das Zimmer war relativ grosszügig und sehr sauber. Der Service und die Anlage verdienen keine 5*. Das Personal ist zwar bemüht, ist aber nicht auf einem 5*-Niveau. Die Poolanlage ist gross und schön. Die Auswahl in den Restaurants ist gut und es wird sehr gut gekocht. Das Frühstück ist gut, könnte aber in einem 5*-Resort etwas hochstehender sein. (Haben wir auf Java bspw. in einem 5*-Hotel anders erlebt)

Die ganze Anlage ist in die Jahre gekommen und verdient keine 5 Sterne. Das Personal hat kein 5*-Niveau. Dass man für alle Spezialabende zusätzlich bezahlen muss, passt nicht zu einem Resort wie diesem. Zudem war das BBQ am Strand sehr spärlich und wenig überzeugend in der Qualität und Auswahl der Speisen.

BBQ on beach front needs a bit of professional help smoke can be very over powering. A lot of Baymaries we empty by the time we lined up. . But full credit to the staff within 20mins they were refilled.

Don’t listen to the whingers that give bad reviews

Well maintained expansive grounds. Private beach, large swimming pools, one for adults only. Villas are spread out. Complimentary pick up and drop off around the resort via golf cart. It is very conveniently located near the airport so there is noise from planes landing. It sounds like it’s a bit windy when in room but not disturbing. The resort buildings are slightly older but clean and well furnished. The living area and bedroom is spacious. Buffet breakfast provides a variety of hot and cold options. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will certainly stay again.

Great location and worth the money

This was a late night transit hotel for us as our flight arrived late and with kids it was convienient to stay here before moving to Canggu the next day. The rooms and facilities were amazing and we will be back to spend more time here.

The options at the buffet breakfast lacked for allergy children, even the bread had milk and eggs in it. I also went to the lounge to get a coffee but they were not open until 11am. I could not find anywhere to get a coffee until after our departure.

Staff were no where near as helpful or friendly and welcoming when compared to our 4 other hotels during our trip to Indonesia. Had a few issues which resulted in having to ‘argue’ with management over booking.com 20% discount on food and drink we had. Although it was solved, the process took far too long and we missed an external dinner reservation over this. This obviously was a negative experience for us and I’m not going into 4 separate events that caused this - hopefully it’s an anomaly…. Pool area had really loud music, not necessarily to our taste so again distracted from the atmosphere. But we were only there for 12 hours prior to a 4AM departure so our experience is just a snapshot.
