Unbearable music everywhere.

There was unbearably loud music everywhere: on the beach, the patio, the pool. I could hear it inside my room, loud and clear, if I opened a window. The speakers were installed on every tree, bush, post, wherever they could fit it. It was impossible to find a single spot within the hotel which was not contaminated by this noise. The music itself was a playlist of 20 songs playing over and over and over again.

Amazing hotel, where you can feel history and enjoy in the beautiful view (landscape and sea), stone villas and amazing food in hotel restaurant. Our apartment was great in the front raw just above the crystal clear sea. Manager Dusan was very proactive and he made sure that everything during our stay went smooth. Few minutes from the hotel is very nice beach with white small rocks where we enjoyed with our kids.

Ideal vacation if you want to disconnect and rest. Clean water and beach and amazing staff!

Staff was amazing, very polite, professional and I felt welcomed! Both beaches are really nice and if you are looking for a bit of piece and quiet this is ideal place.

No fridge in the room - a small was would be just perfect for cold water or other beverages. Also while you are guest at Forte Rose you are paying full price for the sun-beds and umbrella. Full price of 40€ is really expensive and if they do not want to give them for free some discount would be great!

Every detail – from the breathtaking views to the rooms and peaceful athmosphere, makes this stay truly special. The staff is welcoming and service minded. The place radiates calm, elegance, and natural beauty. One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been – and definitely somewhere I’ll return to.

Perfect Place to Unwind

If you're looking for a peaceful retreat without the hustle of crowds, traffic, or noise, Forte Rose is the perfect place for you. This hidden gem on the Montenegrin coast offers beautifully preserved architecture, lush greenery, and even century-old trees surrounding the area, creating a truly unique and tranquil atmosphere. The village Rose, itself has just a few houses, and while the road to get here can be a bit challenging and long, it's absolutely worth it once you arrive. The staff makes you feel like home, remembering your name and preferences from the moment you arrive. Even at the start of the season when the hotel was quiet, the service was impeccable. Special shoutouts to Victoria and Dušan at the reception, waiters as well as Milan at the beach for their wonderful hospitality. The hotel offers multiple beach options: a tiny sandy beach just below the restaurant that feels almost private, a built-in area in the sea with sun beds, and a larger beach with a beach bar just a short walk away. Although the larger beach wasn’t fully open during our stay, the smaller beach was absolutely amazing. Overall, if you’re seeking a breathtaking, restful experience with the option to explore nearby towns, Forte Rose is the place to be. We’ll definitely be coming back!"

A couple of minor downsides: there aren’t any sun beds by the pool, which would make a big difference, and in the restaurant, you can only order a bottle of wine rather than just a glass, which might not be ideal for everyone.

Nice and polite receptionists as well as the guy who was driving us via boat from parking to hotel. It’s very clean and room is cosy. You have couple of options for beach and they are all very clean and water is perfect. I definately recommend

The location is amazing- quiet, secluded and beautiful. Food was delicious, Beach clean, Service excellent. Definitely coming back!

Great place & food but make sure you get right room!

Great and quiet location in old fortress directly on the sea Very good food in restaurant Netflix channel on the tv :) Friendliness of the young lady at reception

Take care: there are (much) less good rooms than those in picture here (no view, old fashioned, small, things broken) we first got such one and complained about it and had to pay more to get the one as you see on pictures !!! It ended well and the rest was great after change, but it messed our first night and it’s not very honest...

Уединенная локация, выход из номера сразу на пляж (понтон с лестницей) или 3 минуты пешком до очень приятного чистого, камерного, уютного пляжа с баром, лежаками и зонтиками. Отель утопает в зелени, терасса ресторана с великолепным видом + крыша, вид на залив и на Херциг Нови. Романтично, вкусно, комфортно! Жили в премиум номере, который находится в основном здании, в отеле так же есть домики с номерами по 22м, и видои на сад.

Дорога до отеля не очень простая, Гугл карты ведут неправильно. Необходимо ориентироваться по указателям, которые не всегда очевидные, особенно в темноте. Паркинг от отеля расположен примерно в 350 метров, отель по дговору присылает лодку для багажа.

Romantischer ruhiger Urlaub

Die Ruhe einzigartig ! Das offene saubere Meer. Das Personal hat sich bemüht auf Wünsche einzugehen. Leider passierten immer wieder Peinlichkeiten, die für ein 4 Sterne Hotel nicht akzeptierbar sind. Das Essen hervoragend.

Keine Vor Infos wegen der schwierigen Anreise zum kleinen Fischerdorf Rose. Am besten das Auto in Herceg Novi parken und mit dem Boot rüber fahren 20 min, ansonsten mit Auto und Fähre in Hochsaison 2 Stunden. Am Pool konnte man keine Getränke oder Snacks bestellen. Wir hatten in der Steinvilla ein Zimmer. Die Küchenbelüftung war so laut, dass wir uns nicht unterhalten konnten. Als ich das Problem ansprechen wollte, war an der Rezeption niemand. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht.
