Amazing location for skiing, great breakfast, room with a beautiful view…we couldn’t ask for more.
Despite a small misunderstanding before the stay, the staff were incredibly helpful in all of our requests - this was greatly appreciated!

The Hotel building is beautiful and historical
Our room had a lot of niggling problems
The broken shower which took 2 days to be mended. The terrible toilet roll holder. No chair only a stool not suitable for older clients.

An absolutely beautiful hotel in a breathtaking setting. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — warm, attentive and genuinely thoughtful. We were kindly given a complimentary room upgrade, which made the stay feel even more special. The team also organised a wonderful birthday surprise for my best friend, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the celebration unforgettable. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between luxury and charm.
Very little to fault. The spa facilities were good and enjoyable, though perhaps not quite as extensive as expected for a hotel of this level.

Good location close to the cable car, bus stops and a few restaurants.
The staffs at the reception are not friendly and very arrogant. The cleaning staff even took away my tea set with very fine china. Fortunately, we were able to get them back. But this experience is not acceptable at all.

The location is undoubtedly very good.
We arrived at the hotel at 11 a.m. and were told that our room would be ready at 3 p.m. without any problems. It was 3 p.m. and we had to wait another 40 minutes for it to be ready.
The property is very old and has lots of carpeting, and they don't vacuum the rooms every day, so it gets dusty and is very uncomfortable to breathe in. Breakfast was okay... nothing special.
The gym is in another building, not in the hotel itself. But the gym is very good.

This hotel was excellent. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Everyone was friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was outstanding with multiple choices.
I liked the curtesy transport from the railway station. As it would be a long walk.

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The team was courteous and supportive at all times. Rooms were a good size, clean, and nicely prepared. Room service responded promptly, and the food quality was satisfying with reasonable variety. Breakfast was included and offered a good selection. The overall accommodation standard, cleanliness, and service quality made the experience very positive. Everything met expectations.
No water in room

The rooms are warm, quiet and fairly large. We booked a "deluxe double" and was pleased with it but could see the furniture is old but still serviceable. Bathroom nice and very clean, but asked for a bath in the "deluxe double" but only had a shower. Not worth going back to the desk to change rooms.
The housekeeping staff were excellent and did a great job!
Beds were nice and comfortable with comfy blankets and pillows.
Great location in St. Moritz Bad close to three bus stops.
The cocktail lounge was nice and, for St. Moritz, reasonably priced. Bar staff friendly and good at mixing cocktails, etc.
Breakfast buffet is very good with a large selection. Nice dining area.
Overall look of the interior is very nice with a grand lobby that is very relaxing. Old but still nice.
For skiers: The ski room is basically good and has a tuning room for real skiers to tune and wax their own skis.
Close to shuttle bus stop or a 5 minute walk to the Signal Bahn cable car. Make to sure to get a shuttle bus schedule. Once you figure out the bus system all around St. Moritz you will be very happy.
Also, the hotel shuttle from St. Moritz train station to hotel and back to train station is excellent. Just make sure you sign up in advance.
The drivers are excellent and help with the luggage. They really have to work hard as they are covering at least 3 Laudinella hotels. Please tip them.
1) Please train your desk staff and give them basic information that all guests will ask.
Example: the nice young ladies had no idea where the bus stops are located and don't have the printed shuttle bus schedules on hand or even how to get them! The desk manager (male) is rude.
Those schedules are in every other hotel lobby and on each bus! I checked. How can a 4 star hotel fail a basic service item so important for a ski resort! A clear failure. Other questions are usually met with "I don't know".
It is obvious that Reine Victoria is the training (or dumping ground) for the overall staff at all the Laudinella group.
Exception: the bar staff and the housekeeping staff; they are excellent.
2) At breakfast the staff keep taking away my plates. If I get up to get another cup of coffee my food is gone when I return. If I get more food my coffee has been taken away.
I leave my cell phone at the table is a signal that I am still eating but this is ignored.
STOP STEALING MY FOOD! It is such waste, I saw this happen to other tables every day.

Location
We stayed at the hotel for two nights, having previously stayed at another hotel in St. Moritz, which gave us a clear point of comparison.
Unfortunately, our experience started very poorly. The staff member assisting with our luggage was rude, did not greet us, and handled our suitcases carelessly — behavior unacceptable for a hotel of this standard.
In addition, the entire floor had an unbearable smell due to ongoing water-related technical works, with brown water reported at times. This is completely unacceptable during peak season and should be clearly communicated in advance.
To make matters worse, spoiled melon with a sour taste was served at breakfast, raising concerns about quality and hygiene.
Overall, the stay fell well below the standards expected of a hotel at this level, and we will not be returning.

The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive at every step — from reception to the bar and the brasserie. The interior design is stunning, capturing the elegance of 19th-century architecture with its beautiful wooden floors and sophisticated salon atmosphere. The entire experience felt thoughtfully curated and genuinely welcoming.
The only thing - shower pressure was very low.

Nice location, delicious breakfast and coffee, very friendly reception staff. There was an issue with the heating and they helped to fix it quickly. However, this beautiful old building needs some renovation
Check your invoices carefully before paying, the restaurant multiplied the tips by ten. The lady at reception was very helpful with the refund process, but nobody from the restaurant apologized for this

Spacious room. Shuttle service.
Limited service eg carrying bags to and from room. Hotel showed its age somewhat ie needs maintenance.

Retained its old beauty but with modern functionality. Staff at reception very good.
Hotel driver did not wait for our train which was 25 minutes late - in Switzerland! Had to get expensive taxi to hotel.

We enjoyed the breakfast very much, it has the different varieties, the hotel is beautiful decorated with the elegant styles , the reception staffs are the most amazing and friendly manners, the hotel bus and bus drivers are extremely helpful, we are very grateful our room was upgraded, also the free complimentary pass to use the cable car, it was amazing staying. We will absolutely recommend to everyone.
Nothing we don’t like, everything was perfect.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Great facility and comfortable stay. Easy access by bus from train station or old town center. Beautiful and easy walk around the lake to old town center, thanks to the direction by front desk! Free shuttle van to train station!
Not too many restaurants options nearby but it is fine if you are not too picky.

the location of the hotel is good. the design and how it looks, promises a lot. but.. in reality.. not that much.
that my little girl got food poisoning from pasta ordered via room service.

Wonderful breakfast and overall ambience in an older property with lots of charm. There was live music in the bar and free gondola lift tickets if you stay more than 2 nights. A nice location which is a nice 20 min lakeside walk into the start of town. Close to LIDL supermarket too. We went in summer and the weather was perfect with some snow still falling on the peaks.
St Moritz is very expensive and since we had just come from Italy with the same mountains it was much better value south of the border. We self catered and did not eat out. A nice stop for couples but for a family at any time but especially in winter, it would cost an arm and a leg.

A once grand Victorian hotel a 15-20 walk from the old town but close to the lake. A big hotel with lots of rooms which seemed popular with tourists groups.
We were “upgraded” to a renovated room, but dread to think what an un-renovated room was like.
The room was big was big with a large en-suite, and a balcony overlooking the swimming pool opposite which was unfortunately closed and being renovated too.
I guess reasonable value for money for St Moritz.
Nice walks around the lake but the town didn’t match our expectations, felt soulless and quiet in summer. Perhaps very different in the ski season. Glad we only stayed 1 night.
The hot & cold breakfast buffet was good.

The building is beautiful old worldly Queen Victoria style as per the name, and we got an amazing room-huge and luxe and newly decorated. The girl Michaela on reception was exceptional - so helpful and friendly.Free shuttle bus with hotel and free local transport with hotel nights-fantastic for going up the mountain free to Muragl which is unbelievably spectacular. Also the lake- Lej Staz en route for a good hike and lake swimming.
We were told that the restaurant was only available for groups(bit strange),so we had to go out both nights which was also nice but for a luxe hotel,I expect a dining option. Vic's bar was lovely although we did not have a drink there. The hotel is probably undergoing a restyle as it has huge potential with unstyled huge open spaces.Alas no nice outdoors where there could be a beautiful terrace with a view.Rooms fabulous but why oh why install cheap shower heads in the bathtub instead of adding a big luxe shower? No coffee machine and no shower cap or vanity set...bit remiss.

Just beautiful and great accommodations. The view from my room was gorgeous.
Would come back for a longer stay.
I wish the restaurant would serve lunch and dinner. Breakfast was really great!

We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious rooms, warm hospitality, and excellent breakfast. One of the highlights was being able to step right out of the hotel and onto a scenic trail around Lake St. Moritz—an easy, beautiful half-hour walk that led us up into town.
We’d recommend asking the front desk to arrange a horse and carriage ride—it picks you up right from the hotel and is a lovely way to explore the area. Roberto’s, just a stone’s throw away, was a charming and easy dinner spot, and the lakefront restaurants as well as those recommended in town added to the experience.

The room and its large size. The quality of the room fittings and furniture. The room amenities. The staff.
The breakfast. Products were not packaged in individual form. For example, jams, yoghurt.
Breakfast was aimed at large tour groups.

It is grand and beautiful. It is a great location but pricey ..
They did not offer free water for the guests even the first night

I liked the breakfast and location. It also had a spa that was wonderful
It looks like an old hotel. Needs some renovation. Stayed at the 5th floor and the elevator goes only up to 4th floor. There is another elevated between 4 and 5 floors that wasn’t working so we had to carry heavy luggage up the stairs (hard to do if you are older and frail). The room was very small.
The spa requires you to remove any clothing before entering the sauna or steam room. FYI to the shy and private!

The room is a good size and very clean. The bathroom is large and the hotel is comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good.
There is only a shower top in the bath and not a separate shower.
The restaurant in the hotel is not necessarily open to guests for dinner, even in the evenings. We had to leave the hotel and walk to the nearby Main Street to get dinner. During the next day, when we had to wait for our train, one could not get anything to drink or eat in the hotel, except water. They should consider opening up the restaurant and/or the bar and have at least one waiter on duty.
