Budget hotel in a brilliant location

Location was ideal and the grounds were pretty with lots of greenery and a nice pool area.

Didn't like our initial room. There were no windows, which I didn't realise when booking, which made the room very dark and not very nice. There was a lot of noise from the street and nightclub across the road at night, as well as noise from neighbours up all night (not hotels fault but worth mentioning because noise travels easily in the rooms). Staff did their best to assist us, though, and we changed rooms.

Very bad and sad

Nothing there to like , they give only two small bottles of water per day . Today we check out at 10 am . And they don't give water and said you are going to check out that's why they don't give water to us.

We don't like anything as per booking.com website. On the website hotel was looking very clean and wide.but in reality hotel was dirty . We arrived on 7th and departure on 9th Feb. On 8th Feb they don't do housekeeping during the day we came back at 10 pm and collect the bed sheet from them.

The teens loved the pool. The rooms were great, and it was nice to have a hot, decent shower. The area surrounding the rooms was lovely with ponds full of fish to look at. The beach was 15min walk away. Lovely restaurants nearby to choose from.

The hotel will need to be redone soon as its getting tired. Seminyak beach was very polluted - it was such a shame.

Lacks reparation and good hygiene

The location was okay, close to the beach (which is not for swimming) and in a street full of bars, restaurants and shops.

The hotel is too old to function without renovation, the room although I got a king size bed room with a balcony thinking that's the best option, it turned out to be a large old bed, mattress not that comfortable, balcony is the space in front of the room (where we enter the room), a lot of insects and mosquitoes, spider nets on the curtains and lanterns, wardrobe smells like it can benefit from some sun or airing, curtains half blocked and not clean. The bathroom was too smelly despite the cleaning, the toilet seat moves when you sit on it ( it is actually put on the floor and not stuck to the floor) which was uncomfortable to know that it can be moved away from the whole , the flush and taps water flow is weak and the towels were smelly. The sink leaks and has a broken part. We tried to flag that to the property from the first day and requested some cleaning and reparation but it did not happen. The breakfast was also not good, poor options and always something missing, the milk was full of aunts and the black coffee was almost water with barely coffee. It was a poor option even the pool was not clean and had leafs and chips floating for two days.

This property is so old and dirty. Felt a bit creepy and thankfully did not sleep there overnight. Will not visit again

Traditional old- school Bali style, close to everything and it offers value for money.

The location of this hotel is excellent! A few minutes walk to the beach, in one direction, and multiple shops, spas and restaurants in the other direction. The staff- reception, cleaning team, gardener/handyman, everyone I came in contact with was very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast, whilst possibly a little limited in selection, was cooked for me very well each day. The internet worked well in many parts of the hotel, even if not so well in my room. I was able to get better internet service sitting just outside my room which was perfectly fine. The pool area, whilst a little tired, was clean. The garden areas were very well kept. It is a reminder of the old Bali style from years ago.

The pool area could be a bit more inviting- maybe some music played there or something? The pool bar was never open. In fact- I went to the pool area daily and only bumped into one other person there. It’s an under-utilised area of the hotel. That being said- I felt a little bit spoiled having the whole pool to myself, so maybe it’s a good thing? Ha ha

It’s ok if you have long legs and your happy in substandard conditions

The room was located on the third floor with no lift and there wasn’t a phone in the room to be able to contact anyone if there was a question you needed to ask. I stayed ten minutes then checked out , third floor six flights of steep stairs no thanks

this is a survivor hotel great location excellent value for money they are updating facilities . big rooms clean and comfortable with the old charm feeling not modern and cold very close to the beach walk with heaps of places to eat and also lots just out side the hotel

There was no hand soap, no spoon provided with coffee/tea. The entire property did not have a pair of scissors when I needed to borrow one. There was no hairdryer when it was listed in the booking.

Design and staff members - fish pond and beautiful balconies and doors to deluxe rooms. Breakfast was pretty nice - I wish I could have a fruit juice and coffee - not to choose between them

Shower needs upgrading - the shower screen in room 2112 had a deep crack which is not safe as for me. We were wondering if some milk can be placed in the fridge for someone who drinks tea with milk. There was no drying rack on the balcony

Filthy, smells bad, dishonest staff

The location is excellent

The stench from the bathroom was unbearable, very dirty, the staff lied to our faces and said breakfast was over at 10 even though it's advertised as until 11... They just couldn't be bothered. This hotel is almost comically bad lol. Believe me the smell was BAD.

Top position in Seminyak

Beautiful traditional rooms in a wonderful garden with a little nice pool just a very short walk to the beach (6 ' /450 mt) Good position with wide choice of restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Good value for the money compared to the place around.

Brilliant. Bali has had many changes over the years. There seems to be more traffic and less people

The room was clean and smelt fresh. The staff were prepared to clean the room daily, but I requested every 3 days. They changed the linen then and the room was brilliant. The view from my porch was outside the 3 large fishponds and very relaxing. The pool area has been upgraded and made very clean & tidy. It's only a short walk to the beach which is clean and tidy. The hotel is happy to give you a beach towel to make your stay more comfortable. The very large supermarket next door not only has most items required for holidays, but the money changer is also honest and extremely friendly. You can get a reliable phone card there too. I have been staying at The Hotel Paradiso Seminyak for over 20 years and have seen many changes. I usually take friends with me, and we always stay at this hotel. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

location to beach was great, had a room next to the pool which was handy, handy to local shops. staff very helpfull & friendly, gardens & pool very tidy. cheap motel if you want cheap

bed was hard, shower didnt drain properly & smelt, bathroom door rotten from moisture, very basic room. got sick from aircon not being cleaned

Value for money and close to the beach

Pretty good location for access to the beach, massage and shopping streets. Rooms were basic but clean and value for money for the budget rate. Breakfast was generous with good selections. Rare to have a a hotel with a carpark but this was really good for catching those Grabs or Bluebird taxis from a busy street.

As with most properties in this range, the rooms are showing their age and are basic.

Value for Money and Great Location

This is a great little hotel located in the centre of it all. The staff are wonderful and pleasant and since our last stay the property has had some improvements with a new bar being opened out front of the hotel. It’s $35AUD you can’t really complain to be fair. We had a couple of issues with our room but once I spoke to the staff they were immediately rectified. Despite my issues this a great little hotel to spend the first few nights at while you recover from the travel to Bali and head to your next accommodations.

I would have given our stay a 10/10 if the cocktails were not so overpriced and I didn’t have to go elsewhere. Whilst on first arrival the room appeared clean and comfortable upon further inspection a little more attention to detail on the cleaning side of things but when I say this I mean some further dusting and vacuuming would sort it out and the tea cups were cleaned but stained.

Very old tired room. Booked double but gave me two singles with very old linen. Over priced and uncleared for 450,000 a night. Staff not interested in helping, feels like you take them away from the important phone. My room lock was broken from the inside. Sat out side in the morning door shut and was locked out side. Next door said it happens to them too. Walked to office, she knew what I was saying but pretended it was a new thing. 10 minutes later I get into my room after she “ had to find a key “ to let me in. Pool table is ruined🤦‍♀️🥹 rips and smoke marks pool sticks have no tips. So don’t come to play billiards. Food expensive in comparison. Finished. ✅

Top budget hotel in Seminyak

Great location property is a bit aged with broken tiles on the base of the pool and surroundings. Remember you pay for what you get . Overall, it is very affordable and great location Meals in this place were as good as any of the others for the same price.

Everting was shift , dirty asf smells rooms and toilets , Shit bed , no toilet papers , no teeth’s brush , felt like I,m in a present , not recommending to anyone , all the reviews are fake , noticed 2 other peoples came to stay like us for a few days and they left like us , we booked for 10 days , stayed one night paid one night extra to leave and go to better place .

Location was good. Honest staff the cleaner or groundsperson young man outside room told me when i dropped my bank card.
