In the middle of the city, the top of building had a great view of the area. Friendly staff, cheap stay for the night
The pool was under maintenance the whole time 😩
Shower at some stages didn’t work , no water
It needed a scrub
My air con didn’t work properly last week of my two week stay

The location of the hotel only, nothing less.
Where do I start.
1. The bath tub leaked when using it.
2. Toilet bowl also leaked and the whole day water was leaking as the float ball was faulty.
3. Water was salty - seriously salty. Informed the staff and they said they are fixing a new filter and when pressed, said the water is from the SEA.
4. Fridge was frosted.
5. Wash basin was so clean, you could see your face.
6. Inner curtain was old and torn at so many places.

The room itself was a good size, nicely decorated, with 32" TV and set top box providing YouTube etc, the Wi-Fi was good, bar fridge worked (although a tad noisy) and the beds were firm but comfortable. Air-conditioning worked well and the bathroom had hot/cold water. It was nice having a balcony overlooking the pool. The staff were courteous and friendly but didn't understand English that well and could not help with the issues raised. The location was excellent with a short walk to the beach.
The pool was green and unusable during my 6 day stay which was a big disappointment. The other main concern was the cleanliness. The towels never looked clean and were grey off-white and always had stains. The sheets were better but also occasionally stained. The toilet bowel looked disgusting and not likely cleaned properly for years. For likely cost reasons, the staff turn all the external lights off after midnight besides one light in reception. This means the place is completely dark and dangerous if coming back after midnight as the lights are not motion controlled. The lift is next to the pool and I heard someone actually fell into the tiled pool by accident because it was so dark and were lucky not to be severely injured. If the owner is reading this I strongly recommend keeping AT LEAST the first floor balcony lights on after midnight for safety reasons. Other minor things like lifts out of order, room safe unable to be unlocked on arrival, door lock that would occasionally not work and not able to be locked from the inside due to missing knob, external wifi modem hanging a meter from the ceiling, shower head broken and squirting water sideways, torn lace curtains, and a hard to open sliding door to the balcony all point to the owner not spending any money on maintenance.
I can forgive a lot of the minor things mentioned given I only paid AU$30 a night (approx 328,000 IDR), however I would not stay again unless I was assured the pool was clean and in working order and if I did, I would purchase and clean my own towels during my stay as I always felt I was cleaning myself in someone else's filth.
It is such a shame the owner doesn't concentrate more on hygiene and spend a little money on replacing and correctly washing towels and bed sheets and cleaning the pool and toilets because the room decor and location is excellent.
I might stay here again but only if the pool was useable and I couldn't find something better for the same price.

Location, pool, bed.
The wifi is unusable and the room could definitely use a renovation. The pipes in the hotel are very dirty, so after every about 4 hours of not using my water, I would get gray water for about 20 seconds before it got a little better, but still not clean. The sink sometimes got a build up and then squirt in all directions. The room card stops working every 2 days, so you have to go reset it at the reception. The frozen fridge was just funny.

The location was ok and it was cheap
The photos on Booking.com were nothing like the room we got. The photos were at least 10 years old.The rooms had mould on the walls. The sheets were very stained and grey
The smell of damp was awful. Room was old and in desperate need of cleaning.. We only stayed a few hours and then checked out.

I stayed in a suite for 6 nights and it was $220 so I wasn’t expecting much. Staff were friendly, bed was good but that’s where it ended.
Bathroom was filthy and the shower over bath was dirty and covered in rust! Bathroom tap at the sink didn’t work at all so had to use the kitchen sink to wash hands after using the toilet! On check in I was advised I had to go and get money out and bring it back, I wanted to pay on credit card. Stayed on level 3 and the 1 lift that worked broke down on several occasions. When they cleaned the room and mopped the floors, the water must have been dirty as it stank the room out.

The accommodation was VERY affordable so manage your expectations. The room is clean which is the most important for me. But there are obvious signs that the accommodation is old and needs upgrading, the toilet is old and the furniture as well. But again, for the price, having a clean mattress with AC and security in a central location is enough for me.
Old facilities - old furniture, old toilet, etc. TV has no show because there is slow wifi signal, but I have eSim so the wifi strength didnt bother me.
