Beautiful Rhine Falls.

The hotel is located in a nice and calm place, not far from train if you are traveling with trains. There is a bar downstairs offers a nice ambiance. Clean and comfortable rooms.

Check out is set at 09:00 which is a bit early.

Friendly service, clean, room well decorated, quiet, comfortable bed.

Ok for one night.

The room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Situated outside Schaffhausen.

Access to the hotel was via a very noisy and smoky bar. No lift. Expensive for what it was. More like a hostel than a hotel.

Price-quality ratio poor

Not much

This place has check-out time 9:00, which is very strange. We accidentally had booked just one person and ended up paying more than 20€ extra compared to normal two person price on booking. Room was also very hot without any a/c nor even cross-draught possibility. When window had to be open there was much noise from church just few tens of meters away ringing bells all night long. Price-quality ratio was extremely poor.

I wouldn’t recommend.

Was an easy walk to Rheinfall

Loud pub underneath, smell of smoke everywhere, awful beds. I booked a private double room and it wasn’t worth the money at all even if it is in Switzerland. I’d recommend to pay a little bit extra and get a hotel.

But for a night stay… pretty good

Lot of restaurants around and very nearby and walkable to station and Rheinfalls, complimentary drinks and friendly staffs tried to speak in English. Spacious room and nice shower.

Nighttime little noisy because of nightlife however I was quite tired after too much walking or hiking. No lift. The lobby stinked smoking smell.

There was a lot of dust, it was quite dirty, and the smell of the deodorizer was very strong. The staff cannot communicate in English.

The facilities are basic but clean.

No kitchen so only coffee n croissant for CHF14 not worth it. We had breakfast down the road which was good. The morning staff was good though

Price on booking was too high. While there was a board outside that the rate was CHF60. No lift so dragging our suitcases up the stairs was a nightmare. The hotel is for backpackers who travel light.

Staff is wonderful, kind and professional. Location is excellent .The whether was cold,but there wasn't heating on. Cleaningnes could be much better.

Have a heating on,cleaning the rooms daily,have a catle in the room for making tea and coffee.

My experience at Zak Neuhausen

The room was very comfortable and cosy. The staff was very welcoming and the check-in was easy. The location is very close to the Rhein fall which is only a 7 minute walk from the hotel. The 2 beds combined made a sweet king size bed for me and my wife, and made our sleep really comfortable. The extra pillows were also a good touch.

It’s located above a noisy, smokey bar, which we needed to walk through to access our room! The curtain didn’t cover window! We had to pay for parking! We had to check out by 9 am! The people at the next table were smoking at breakfast!

absolutely nothing! Booking.com should not promote this backpackers place

it’s dirty, smells of smoke right from ‘reception’ which is in the middle of smokers bar! Room was full of dust everywhere 🙃 broken bins and my child had to hold his nose not to breath through the corridors that smelled really bad!

Pleasant

Location is perfect, close to public transportation and all the main attractions of the area. Better than being in the city center of Schaffhausen.

Walls are paper thin, the neighbours sound like they are almost in the same room. The breakfast is really basic, 1 plate with no options at all.

Die Chefin Irene ist ein ❤️- guter Mensch.. Sogar unsere 3 kleinen Fellnasen durften mit übernachten ohne Aufschlag.Sie hatte uns das Geschenkt. Dazu gab es noch ein.paar Wikommensgeschenke🥰. Man sollte aber wissen das es unterhalb eine Bar hat und dem nach auch mal etwas läutere Musik läuft,was wir aber wussen und uns keines wegs gestört hat.im gegenteil wir kommen gerne wieder. Lg Conny & Hundis.
