Great hotel but get the cheap room if you want AC.

The hotel is very well located and the breakfast amazing

We paid for a premium room but didn’t have AC. The bed was way too soft and there was only one pillow per person. My parents had the cheaper room which had AC and felt more spacious. I don’t think this room should even be sold during summer time as we could barely sleep due to the heat…

Great location, charming and friendly hotel and staff.

The property is in a great location and the room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was small but adequate and had all amenities. The staff were very helpful and responsive. They provided us with a kettle when we requested one, gave us dining recommendations and brought us a heater when we discovered the heating in the room and the heated towel rail were not working.

The only issue was the lack of heating which made the room chilly in the evening but did not bother us overnight. The heating came back on around 7.30am

Lovely place for a night in the area. Super nice clean design with industrial furniture to match the building decor. Breakfast had a good selection too.

It's very hot in Switzerland these days, and we could not sleep without the fan on. An actual airco built into the rooms would be most suitable for Summer.

The room is very nice, well equipped but without air conditioning. This could disturb some in summer and on the top floor. Late chekin was well organized and professionally communicated. Breakfast is ok, limited variation but what you can have is fresh and nice

the hotel was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Somebody had thought ahead what a customer wanted and provided excellent service plus extra features that have not been in other hotels. I could list these as they do not show up in Booking.com's list of features but that would make it too easy for other hotels to copy. The staff, including room staff, were aware of, and addressed, my needs even before I was aware I needed assistance to make the stay extra pleasant.

It is a very beautiful and cozy hotel in the heart of Schaffhausen. We had a very pleasent stay. The personal was super nice and the breakfast was delicous and abundant. We fell in love with the pastries and you could also ask for extra salmon and meat. Really worth it if you are visiting Schaffhausen!

The room was a bit small but that It was meant to be as it is a reformed 15th century hotel.

everything was very good. Breakfast was much better than an average swiss breakfast, they have even made omlette without any extra cost. It is in a perfect location, only few metres to the centre. Staff was very helpful. Room was small but very clean. Beds were comfortable. Overall I am very satisfied with my stay in this hotel.

Perfect place to stay in Schaffhausen

The staff were very friendly - both at reception and at breakfast. The hotel was lovely and the room, although small was quiet and well equipped. The shower, wifi and breakfast were all excellent. The location was perfect for us - 4 minutes walk from the train station and right on the main streets.

The only complaint we had was that the room was very warm, but we didn't ask for it be adjusted so maybe something could have been done.
