Holidays in a listed building combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a revitalised future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the "Vacation in architectural monument" foundation, which was set up by the Swiss Heritage Society in 2005. The living room has a beautiful window front with a bay window, which looks out onto the Moser garden and lets in plenty of light and sun. The flat is located on the edge of the lively old town, so the noise level can be a little higher. The flat is on the first floor and is accessed via a steep staircase. We would like to point out that this can be a source of danger. Important addition: The flat in the house "Zum Hinteren Dornhahn" is a historic flat, a listed building. Although it is technically equipped to modern standards, we would like to point out that certain functional details such as window and door openers, stair handrails and step heights do not comply with current standards and may be a potential source of danger.
