Unique and friendly
This a very unique Hotel and very special, so many beautiful decor to discover, all individual and interesting. Lots of historical artifacts and art. You could spend a whole day in this hotel just looking at all of this. The rooms are all beautiful and individual and different from each other.The staff are lovely and friendly and helpful 😊 and to top all of this goodness is the wonderful huge and tasty breakfast.
It would of been nice to have a kettle in our room with some tea or coffee to make ourselves a drink. And an iron an ironing board would of been handy in our room

Hotel with charm
A charming hotel with a warm atmosphere. The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive. A very warm thank you to Mrs Nussbaumer who really looked after me. The breakfast is a feast! I was very impressed!

Great location, great food and great team.
The team there were incredibly welcoming, friendly and always there when you needed them. The location was perfect for the centre with parking outside the building. I had dinner in the restaurant which was amazing value for money, wonderful rack of lamb cooks just as I like it with a good Primitivo wine to pair to it. Also the restaurant was full that evening so a lovely atmosphere. The breakfast was also excellent and included in the room price. I’ll definitely stay again.
My only problem was the shower which was small with two curtains that simply don’t keep the water in the tray and I did try…………..

Warm and welcoming front desk staff, wonderful breakfast in a beautifully appointed dining room, quick and easy access to central Schaffhausen and very comfortable beds.

Would not hesitate to stay here again.
Lovely old style motel with lots of charm. Great location close to the station and the town. Walking distance to everything. The room had a lot of style about it. The staff were great. They actually understand what customer service means. Loved the old guy in the restaurant. Breakfast was outstanding. Dinner was also great although a little on the pricey side. Overall we highly recommend and would stay here again.

Super nice hotel! The atmosphere is very romantic, rooms are lovely, breakfast room and bar invite you to stay longer. The staff is very welcoming, accommodating and friendly. highly recommended!

Great location, wonderful staff.
Love this hotel. Gorgeous place with a wonderful team taking care of us. The food was delicious. Our dinner was one of the best on our entire trip. Convenient to the train station and the downtown for shopping.
