Pembroke Townhouse

Room was tight, but the bed was very comfortable (the pillows could be improved). I appreciated the clean towels and linens! I also liked the coffee bar downstairs in the lobby (wish your cups were bigger) and the baked goodies put out in the afternoon were a nice touch! Decor in the lobby is lovely.

Biggest complaint is the lack of outlets in the room and the mini-fridge. I bought some groceries and removed the provided drinks from the mini-fridge; however, I noticed the fridge was not very cold. It was plugged in and the switch on (I checked). I mentioned to the front desk that I didn't believe the fridge was working properly and was told someone would look at it. However, no one got back to me. Regardless, some of the groceries I bought had to be thrown out (i.e. chicken sandwich, yogurt and protein shakes) as they all spoiled due to not being kept cold enough! Also, for the rooms with no A/C, fans should be provided (thankfully I was given one for the duration of my stay).

While it’s pet friendly- common areas of the establishment are not and with an additional charge of 40 euro for the night. In my opinion that’s too expensive.

Very nice hotel and well maintained. Room was spacious and comfortable. Was given a free upgrade on arrival which was very much appreciated. There is a little kitchenette (a very classy one) with free coffees and free parking too.

There was no air conditioning in the room which normally would not be a problem, but the weather was very warm on night of my stay. Also, the shower leaks onto the bathroom floor quite a bit.
