Great hotel I would stay again just the heating issue in my sons room.

The hotel was clean and comfortable the food was delicious staff lovely and helpful.

My son was in a single room he had to sleep in his clothes as there was no heating on in his room the heating seemed to come on in the morning . Room 310

Not recommending!

No heating in the room , very cold ! Air conditioning did not work , we asked reception for any help 3 x . The man said that it will work in 15min, than in 45 min … it never did - bad experience.

No heating ! Very expensive for such an average old hotel room .

The food in mother reillys was fantastic.

Breafast was good. I had scrambled eggs and bacon. My husband had full irish. Little choice of pastries.

There could have been a bigger pastry/scone choice. I was down at 9 and there were just a few mini croissants.

It suited me as I was near the relative I was visiting and is on good bus routes into the city

The room was well furnished, very comfortable bed. Excellent walk in shower, lovely hot shower. Water supplied in the room was a bonus. Very clean

The breakfast was a good offer, but took quite a long time to come and some of it was quite tepid. The cold help yourself bits were excellent, with a good variety. The tea was a lovely large pot, so they are onto a good start, but the cooked breakfast needs to be better with all items at same level of heat.

My room was spotless and comfortable, the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, and breakfast included generous options for all dietary needs. Perfect

Can’t wait to come back

Really nice hotel comfortable rooms with lovely staff. It is in a nice area close to shops and restaurants. There are many bus stops to go to the city centre so it is easy to get around. The food is excellent in the hotel and the bar next door.

A really nice stay .

The staff were fantastic and easy going at the Uppercross . The hotel has lots of character especially the bar . A really good facility is that they have safe, secure and free parking . Our room was spotless and had really good toiletries . Having a mini fridge was a really good facility to have ! The bed was comfy also and we had an ironing board and iron which is great . The drink vouchers were a lovely touch . There was a vending machine also which came in handy when we came back from the concert . The location is really ideal and the hotel is nestled in between some beautiful places to eat and drink ! We would definitely come back to the Uppercross and would recommend it to everyone . Really good value for money .

Tiles in the bedroom are an odd choice and shower wasn’t very powerful, but did the job .

There were no instructions in the room on how to use the a/c controls. The toilet set was loose. The tv remote was malfunctioning. The shower head stand would not stay in positioned when adjusted to.

Early check in (not guaranteed) but room ready at 10AM after transatlantic flight. Welcoming staff. Spacious, clean, quiet back room. Spacious, functional modern shower. Iron, hair dryer and fridge. Large closet with plenty of hangers. Multiple power outlets with USB A&C. Large desk space. Phone, for calls, or just to reception! Great breakfast choices. Fantastic selection of restaurants and shops within in 5 minutes walk of hotel.

Safe appeared non- functional. Hotel is 4kms from city center towards the end of the relatively infrequent Dublin Express airport bus route (mitigated by good public transport links, via bus and tram, and price)

Reasonable price for Dublin, quite dated interior

I was given a breakfast bag due to an early check out which was really appreciated. Water would have been appreciated but the bag had a piece of fruit, sandwiches, yoghurt and a carton of orange juice. Unfortunately I had to leave some of the items as it would not be able to be taken through security. Bed was comfortable.

There didn’t seem to be an internal lock on the door which was slightly unnerving as my room appeared to be right by a staircase so it felt like someone was right outside regularly. The sink tap wasn’t fixed properly to the sink and there was a bad smell in the toilet. I didn’t use the shower as it was a quick visit. There was also no heating in the room so it was difficult to try and dry out my wet clothes from the rain.
