Great location and value for money, just be aware it will be loud!

Great location, staff were friendly friendly and helpful. Our room was ready early upon arrival which was a great help.

A little bit dated in parts eg the bathroom. Didn't like in the gym/pool area you had to walk through the gym to go to sauna. Very noisy at night but we knew that when booking.

Amazing one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Dean. We went for a birthday and they upgraded our room free of charge. The staff were so accommodating and welcoming. The property is in a great location and the room was amazing. The pool and the sauna was a great bonus. We would definitely be back.

The property was under going some construction work but wasn’t an issue we didn’t hear loud noise. We did hear some music from the nightclubs around but wasn’t anything that would effect our stay.

Perfect, perfect, perfect

Thank you so much for upgrading our room. We had the most special time celebrating our anniversary. It was our first time staying in the Dublin hotel and it was just perfect from start to finish. The James Suite is perfect!

Very cool hotel pity about the noise

I loved the rooms so so much and I found the gentle man on check in to be extremely pleasant and helpful.

I was woken up very early by building work which was really annoying as i came for a break but ended up earlier than i do at home, then to add to my disappointment i was not asked how my stay was on check out so I could bot express my disappointment. I was then declined a table for breakfast even though i was a guest at the hotel which was one of the reasons why I booked the hotel so i then had to walk around Dublin with my caws trying to find food before my train home.

Great hotel and really good city.

Celebrated my 60th here, with my wife and children & partners. Had a great time. Lovely Georgian building. Very nicely decorated / themed. Really good rooftop bar. Rooms really nice and cosy. We all loved it. You can easily walk to Saint Stephen's Park and Grafton Street. We also walked to the temple car area and river from the hotel, although that does take some time, so at other times we got a taxi. We also got a taxi to the Guinness Store House. Google said that was about 35 minutes walk but it seemed like it would take longer than that, having been taken to it by taxi.

Nothing really, There are some night clubs/bars in buildings close by, although the noise was not something I really noticed. The hotel did provide ear plugs in each room though. I thought the Full Irish breakfast was expensive and not that good. Some of the other breakfast choices my family had, they loved. the portions were large its fair to say.

Disappointing

Location

No pool, no gowns, no heating working properly in the hotel. Very disappointing considering the price of the room. (I get the pool can have maintenance). Two single beds put together a pet hate. U pay extra for a better room with better facilities and overall a disappointing stay. All these points were explained to reception and nothing was done. I was offered a coffee for the drive home which I found insulting .

It was grand like definitely not the worst but for over 200e per night I expected a better standard of cleanliness

The rooms are dirty and in need of refurbishing. I stayed in a suite a few years ago and felt the same. Our room this time was 101 and it smelled damp.

Great accommodation, noisy at night

Great location, gym, and restaurant. We loved the record player in the room and all of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, it was quite noisy at night. The accommodation provided earplugs and we found them absolutely necessary to sleep through the night.

Disappointing

Location was great, rooms were stylish.

Check in took a long time, there was a big queue and two people on reception but one person wasn’t checking people in, was doing something else. Then the plug in the sink in the bathroom was broken and the kettle in the room didn’t work.

Grace on reception was so welcoming and accomodating and made our stay really special.

In the other branches of the Dean you can order a drink to the pool and we would have enjoyed that hear but the facilities were still exceptional without.

10/10 Stay

From the moment we checked in the stay was amazing! The gentleman who checked us in was super helpful, offering suggestions on places to eat in the area as we were heading out for the night. We were also over the moon to have gotten an upgrade on our room, which was an amazing surprise. The room was fabulous, the bed was super comfy and all in all a 10/10 stay. We will definitely be back!

Room 303 felt dirty. Really needs to be renovated or a deep deep clean! The door into the bathroom doesn’t open or close easily and it’s very sticky. The bathroom also just felt really dirty. Also there is no fan or anything in the Bathroom. When we went for a shower the whole roam would fog up and it would get really really hot. We had to open the door into the hall and the window to try cool down

Loved the rooms, the location so central. The rooftop views from the restaurant over breakfast was stunning. The valided parking saved us quite a bit. Will definitely come back. The room was very quiet and comfortable. Bed so warm! The service was exceptional. Small touches make all the difference.

Location was great and very easy to get around

Room in the townhouse had an awful view over an alley with bins and the window could see directly into what seemed to be a dance studio with no voile curtain to block the view so felt very overlooked. Room was tiny. Nowhere to put clothes at all - no hooks, hangers, shelves or drawers. Felt very overpriced for what it was.

There is a lot of building work happening at the hotel currently , my room overlooked a builders storage and toilet . Also very expensive per night , it’s seems Dublin is forgetting to be affordable. The staff are pleasant and helpful however and my room Comfortable

The Dean was overall a lovely hotel with lots of nice touches & we wish we had a bit more time there

Staff were very helpful Room décor was lovely Balcony was a nice addition Beautiful big bed and was very comfortable Drinking water (in tetrapacs) and toiletries provided (including hair conditioner) Heated radiator for towels. Facecloths also provided. Late check-out of 12 noon as standard

The door into the bathroom was broken (had came off the runner) and even when fixed, didn't close properly and just rolled open again. No lock on bathroom door. Whilst balcony was a nice addition, it was beside and overlooked a building site. No mugs were provided for tea/coffee, just two paper cups holding the teabags and sachets that we had to empty and clean before use. The cups didn't fit properly in the espresso machine. Proper mugs and cutlery would have been much nicer and more sustainable than disposable cups and spoons.. We didn't get to experience the rooftop restaurant as it was fully booked..
