Great central location
Great location, spacious bathroom, sockets and lights for each bed

Ok
Its a ok hostel, the staff isn’t the most welcoming I’d say and the stairs.. get ready for it, wouldn’t recommend if you aren’t used to stairs. The kitchen is very nice tho, clean and useful. The bathroom are clean. The heater was working well and the location is ok.
The staff was not the most welcoming or helpful, usually hostel staff are more friendly. The stairs is a bit too much, i got exhausted the lift should be from 1st floor

We are the ones who make history
The reception staff were truly very kind, helpful, and professional. I felt right at home. Thank you, and see you soon.😉
I would consider distributing ziplock bags for shoes, assigning beds to higher-up residents based on age and weight, and banning alcohol from entering the facility.

Best accommodation for Dublin city-break with friends
The location is very central, close to all the touristic attractions.
The shower was a little bit weird and we needed some time to figure out how it works but most probably that's on us. It was indeed a funny experience.

Good location, terrible design of 10 bed dorm
The location. Easy access to transport, lots of cafes, clubs and restaurants around.
Felt like I was in Squid Games, needed to get through a labyrinth to get to the common areas, even though there was a door to access it via the ground floor, but was locked closed for some reason. And just onr bathroom in the door for 10. It was a huge bathroom but with just a single shower. Waste of space, very inconvenient in the morning with 10 people wanting to use it.

Good hostel
Big room with 18 beds in whole means plenty of space. Private bathroom always clean.
Light at each bed top. Great mattress.
Someone at the reception at all times.
Beside Shopping Centre and Grafton street.
No microwave. Bar under our windows = music until 2am.

I really didn’t like it, the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in.
The place was very noisy and I couldn’t get proper rest before work. Cleaning was done while I was trying to sleep, which disturbed me even more. The neighbors were loud both during the day and at night, making it impossible to relax

Ordinary hostel, but very expensive
The property was old, worn and not fresh. However, they kept the premises clean and the bed linen were clean.
We were unlucky to have a window towards a nightclub that played until 3 am. Earplugs were of little help. The AC was on a 3 hr timer, so you had to get up in the middle of the night to restart. Lots of people coming and going in the room all night.

Affordability and friendly.
Check-in was great, the staff are friendly. The location is great, with plenty of buses, taxis, and a Luas (tram) on the doorstep. Very close to EVERYTHING, including nightlife and Temple Bar.
The pillow is too thin, and the air heater/cooler could be more central in room 321 and stay on for more than 3 hours. It is noisy but expected given the location in the city centre.

I won’t come back.
It is very well located.
The price was very expensive for a bed in a 12 bed dormitory. The bathroom was rundown and the glass door didn’t allow proper intimacy. The window in the room didn’t close and stayed wide open and despite our request nobody came to check what could be done about it.

Drunken, rowdy night to dubstep
The hostel is in a good location near public transport. The rooms have air conditioning and the floors are carpeted. I was in a 6 bed mixed dorm with private bathroom. The bathroom was large with a bathtub. It was very clean.
The hostel is listed as having a lift, which is very important to me due to mobility issues. Staff were accommodating to give me a bottom bunk. Unfortunately, I had to walk up two flights of stairs and then you can take an elevator to the TV room/Kitchen. The real trouble began when trying to go to sleep. The music from the club next door was audible in the room and the bass could be felt. Then there were the drunk obnoxious lads who came in the middle of the night. Somehow we wound up with an extra lad who kept coming into the room, turning on the overhead light, talking loudly asking his mates for a phone charger and asking how all the beds were full. 3:30 in the morning. Yes, after the all Irelands, but really over the top behaviour, absolutely no respect for the other people trying to sleep. And this lad had a key to the room, so how did that happen? He eventually left and came back in repeating the same behaviour at 6:30 am. So, I paid for a bed, hoping to get close to 8 hours sleep and got around 3. I did report it to staff and the first thing they asked was had I complained during the night. I reminded them I was there because they have a lift listed on their page and I couldn't do the stairs without putting on my leg braces. One of the worst experiences I've had in a hostel. Which is sad, because it has a lot of unique features.

Great location & price, but not comfortable sleep
The staff was really nice and the private 6 bedroom with bathroom was great for my group.
The beds weren’t comfortable and the shower automatically would turn off during it.

Surprisingly nice for a hostel.
Great location with in walking distance of Dublin Castle and other nice spots. I really liked that we could reserve a private room to ourselves which was great for our big family. The electricity/heater situation was quite strange and only ran on a 2hr max timer. So I don't know what you do on cold nights. But the bunk beds were like new with phone chargers built in which was a nice surprise. one of the bunks was dangerously close to the heater and would have been uncomfortable if we had to use it. Thankfully that was extra one for us. Having to pay for soap and towels seems really odd at a hotel, but this is the type of place it is.
smells a bit of marijuana in the halls and lots of rowdy young guys, but I guess that was to be expected in a hostel.

Good but unpleasant shortcominngs as well
Biggest hostel I have ever been to. Great location, Innovative and safe storage cages in room, You get a map on arrival.
Hostel does not provide even basic stuff in kitchen, like coffe. salt, sugar... Water in showers comes always boling-hot only with a button-like mechanism, without the chance to reduce temparature, which is really unpleasant. I told this to staff and was told that it was not a flaw, buth the way it is (!) Only one hostel in the world in which I have been charged to leave luggage a couple of hours after check-out and they do not accept cash.

Rude and racist staff
Nothing
The staff is very very rude, I cancelled one of my booking within the cancellation period, when but when I ask for my refund, they he asked me to send an email, afterwards no updates and I tried contact them and they are just hanging up my phone, untill now.
Also one time I was in a que to checkin with the same hostel, I withnessed a extremly rude behaviour from one of the receptionst, a very old black men he asked for a lower bed, in a very polite way and this receptionist shouted at him for no reason at the same time he was flirting with another woman and offering her a lower bed and everything, that scene was crezy, i dont know why cultureless people like him working as a receptionist. Overall very bad experience and I lost money, its okay never again this hostel.

Poor sleep and disappointing staff.
Location.
The room was extremely warm and noisy. During the weekends it is basically impossible to sleep before 3am. The hostel does not have any noise isolation. The beds are very uncomfortable and the check in staff are not well prepared making very basic mistakes, such as giving you the wrong bed number, and charging you for basically everything.

Brilliant location, very pleasant
Very friendly staff, excellent location, beautiful hostel (very huge, it is quite an adventure to find your room and i liked that!). Bed was comfy, met nice people in the room.
In the bathroom, there is too hot temperature for my taste, so I think staff can decrease it, cause it doesn’t has to be necessary that warm.
Depending on the day, but sometimes there is a loud club till late on the street right in the area of the hostel, but that’s something that guests have to count on since the hostel is located in the very centre of the city.

Wouldn’t recommend
Old and cold building, kitchen was always left dirty, cleaning staff were very ignorant and check out time was 10am, staff often came in hoovering while I was still in room

Central spot. Better than sleeping rough. Avoid if you need time in the toilet/shower time.
It's central, and it's cheaper than a hotel.
The staff were great.
Nine people sharing one bathroom (one shower). I cannot envision nine people each having time to individually use the one bathroom with one shower in the morning. Even a separate toilet and sink (one room) and shower and sink (second room) would've helped. Or, toilets and a larger communal showering area elsewhere in the building.
For the price (90~100+ euros) it's hardly a bargin, but that's Dublin more so than this place.
The bathroom had no regular hand towel for drying your hands. Surely they could staple one to the wall or install a hand dryer for a room that's turning over 810~1000+ per night.

Passable
Location was very good only a 3 minute walk to where i was going
I was given a bed someone else was sleeping in so had to sort that out no light in the bathroom which could be quite at dangerous at night and no mirror either i was told i could do my makeup and use the mirror at reception which is hardly ideal i was told there had been a few incidents with mirrors but after paying 81 euro for a bed id expect these basic things in a room
