nothing
very average breakfast with inattentive and unfriendly staff; room was not clean, especially the bathroom with grime on the faucet. The shower door opens awkwardly on the toilet and was not properly fitted so water went everywhere in the bathroom - we had to fix it ourselves. Had it been cleaned properly, the cleaner would have fixed it. Stained and disgusting carpet. Kettle not working. View over the parking and room close to the lift and the revolving door. Very expensive for what it is.

Lovely place to stay to visit Bury St Edmond’s , loved the swimming pool and facilities- great that they are all included in the price .
Our bed was quite hard and we did think we were going to have a bath as on the reviews it said all properties have a bath but the shower was amazing .

A good location for Bury St Edmunds, Ickworth House.
Excellent breakfast.
Spacious room- (superior)
The evening meal options were quite limited and although very well cooked we found the roast chicken meal wasn't enough- especially for £22. There weren't any green vegetables on the plate.

Property was very clean and the staff were exceptionally attentive
The rooms are very basic !
The bed was a little too firm for both myself and my husband. He didn’t sleep well at all.
I really enjoy a bath, the water temperature was not hot enough in my opinion and I had to add 4 kettles of boiling water to my bath, this put me off going to use the pool, as many have left reviews regarding the water temperature.
Breakfast was lovely and again excellent customer service ! 👏🏻

Quiet and set in attractive grounds.
Friendly helpful staff.
Clean, good sized room with a big bed.
Nice hot shower.
Very good choice for breakfast and the freshly-cooked element was very tasty.
Spa and swimming pool is a useful extra facility.
Nothing really to complain about. Car parking spaces are a bit tight but there was ample parking on arrival. Would imagine it gets busy during the warmer months.
Our shower controls were difficult to manage but this, again, was a minor item which we mentioned to reception upon check out.

Lovely clean hotel with helpful and polite staff. Very nice breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant. We will definitely be back. Very easy to drive to Bury St Edmunds town where there are lots of shops and bars and restaurants.
The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and polite

The heating would not turn down, the room was boiling. We were told to open the window. That maintenance didn’t work that day. We were told the problem will be sorted or a new room provided and never were. We basically got messed around and ignored by the staff until we left, given false information and were told that things would be done that never were.

Staff all very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast choices great; both had cooked options which were excellent and so well presented. Beds very comfy, had a great nights sleep. Exceptionally clean everywhere. A really lovely hotel, cannot fault anything at all

The reception, check in and parking were very good. Well thought out and excellent service from the team at this point.
Food a drink at this place is just not serious. Somebodies hobby that isn’t understood and not thought through. Checked in at 2pm, dropped the bags and decided to go for a drink and something to eat, before relaxing in the spa for a few hours. Got to the bar, had to wait for the three girls in the restaurant to finish their conversation, before one came across. Ordered two drinks, took the food menu and went to sit down to choose something to eat. Returned to the bar and joined the queue of four people, with still one person serving and three chatting in the restaurant plus 2 chefs chatting in the kitchen. Waited for 10 minutes or so in the queue only to be to,d by one of the restaurant chatters that if I wanted food, I was too late as the kitchen was closed now and would not be serving food again before 6pm. Wtaf! A resort with no food service, beyond cakes and peanuts, in between lunch and dinner services. Never seen it before, anywhere. Amateurish at best. So went down the road to a great little pub, the Three Kings. Highly recommended and clearly run by people who know what hospitality is all about. Needless to say, spent time and money there rather than the surge of the All Saints offering.
Breakfast on Sunday morning was every bit as inept. Arrived about 8:45, met by a pleasant chap who talked us through the service and explained everything. Big tick. That was the highlight though. Went to the continental area to get a few bits before ordering our cooked breakfast. Sparse pickings as it had clearly been very popular, but managed to get a glass each of an unlabelled juice (we think it was grapefruit, but not sure) and a couple of coffees from the one machine serving everyone. It took about 25 minutes for the same chap as had greeted us, to appear with his order pad. We ordered two breakfasts and waited. And waited. And waited some more.

The location is beautiful, with a view from every window. The front staff was courteous and warm. Breakfast was offered in a large farmhouse, spacious timing area. The rooms were luxury with towels, slippers for the spa. Very quiet hallways and clean comfortable beds.

Staff very very friendly and had a brilliant stay

Nice location, nice leisure facilities (swimming pool, indoor and outdoor jacuzzi, couple of saunas), comfortable bed.
I am definitely coming here again because of the comfortable location and nice facilities to relax in cold and rainy weather.
An extra £10 per person is charged for a hot breakfast, but the continental option is potentially very poor. They provide a menu to place an order, but there's only one choice, so it was a bit difficult to get what I wanted.

The spa was lovely, very relaxing.
Room was clean and comfortable.
The View restaurant was very nice.
Breakfast was served cold and had to be sent back. Half an hour before breakfast was finishing they had already run out of pastries and crumpets.

Lovely view of the golf course from our deluxe room, bed was pretty comfy which is a deal breaker for me!
Having access to the spa facilities (pool, steam room, sauna, hot tub) was a bonus with no time limits to be in there.
Not a dislike but what I feel needs some TLC - the spa facilities just need a little spruce up and deep clean, the heated loungers weren’t very warm to what I’ve experienced from other places - no deal breakers and I still enjoyed the use.
Refill of the bread/pastries and plates for the continental breakfast could be quicker - feel it should never get to the point where it’s empty of food or no plates to use. Also bigger plates would be ideal compared to the very small ones.

This was the last stop on a tour that was our honeymoon, we'd stayed here before and new it was lovely. We mentioned our honeymoon when booking and to our surprise we'd been upgraded to a junior suite and that wasn't even the best bit. We arrived to find a hand written card congratulating us. A lovely thought showing the team really care and listen. We loved the spa and made the best use of it and it had improved from last year too. The restaurant was excellent and all of it made perfect by great staff who care and go out of their way to help.

Loved the quality of this hotel.it felt special. It was a treat for me and my friend and we loved the hotel.
The pool changing rooms were freezing. The showers were cramped and the showers felt like a council pool with the 10 second shut off. Surely we could be trusted to turn on and off a tap.there was no spinner to dry ur costume or bag to put ur wet costume in.

Convenient location to our event. Room size was fine.
Despite the distinction not being flagged at booking (which said "Breakfast Included") on arrival, we were told that we only had a continental breakfast included and that we would need to pay £10 per person to upgrade. This was outrageous given we had paid almost £200 per night. Our friends who paid less, had the "upgraded" breakfast included (no idea why).
When we complained, the mistake was acknowledged and we were upgraded on our second night for free but shouldn't have bothered as the next morning realised the "upgraded breakfast" was one egg, HALF a mushroom (so ridiculous its hilarious), an overcooked oily hashbrown that was inedible, some beans and a few sausages and best of all, you have to pay extra for coffee!
Room was not cleaned after our first night and the noise between the rooms really travels (could hear someone's TV on at 1am).
We also ate dinner at the restaurant which had slow service, small portions (below average size, not asking for anything above) and was very expensive for what it was. Highly recommend the pizza place or pub down the road instead for meals. We also were not allowed to book two tables of 4 people at 8pm and had to book one at 7.45pm and one at 8pm. It wasn't a big deal but also very funny when we arrived and the restaurant was empty! Seems like a very pointless policy and if the restaurant can't handle 2 tables of 4 people at once, it probably shouldn't operate. Food service also stops at 8.45pm.
The bed was hard and unfortunately due to the layout of the hotel, there is no privacy if the blinds are open as the rooms all look onto each other, the golf course and the restaurant meaning we had to have the blinds closed the whole time.
The spa was full of locals (very busy with non-hotel guests), screamed "leisure centre" (never seen a frothier hot tub) and outdated plus, didn't even include towels.

Friendly helpful reception at check in. Same again at the restaurant with very good food. Room comfortable and clean and shower decent. Wifi not so good in "basement" rooms but seems OK elsewhere.
Wifi not great and would prefer that the "breakfast included" rate was for a full breakfast not just the continental, but as I had stayed here before I was already aware.

The room was amazing, plenty of space, a view of the golf course and comfortable. The gym and spa facilities were accessible and clean and the food was delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond. The restaurant/bar/snug was lovely and the location was spot on. Close enough to the town but quiet and remote.
Nothing major. The only thing that could be improved was the indoor hot tub wasn't very warm (the outside one was perfect but could get busy).

We were greeted by accommodating, very friendly staff.
Leisure Facilities were very good, enjoyed a morning swim and steam.
Very comfortable, clean room.
Lovely restaurant for breakfast, plentiful continental selection included in room price.
Beautiful surroundings and views across the golf course.
The only slight negative is that there are not many spots for relaxing around the pool/spa area if you were there all day as a larger group.
However, there maybe more relaxation areas in the treatment area?? We didn't have any treatments, so didn't explore this?

Struggled with noisy wedding guests in the early hours in the room above ours. However, the staff dealt with our issue perfectly.
