Aparthotel Adagio Access Saint Louis Bâle

This aparthotel is in a brilliant location, easily accessible from Basel airport and very close (200m) from Swiss border. Walk into Basel is 30 minutes, straight road with shops, parks and restaurants. Room was basic but kitchenette is a bonus, very clean and handy. Comfy beds and clean linen and towels. Breakfast was fresh, nice variety and cook-your-own eggs was a hit with my son - also the crepes! There are plenty of takeaways and bakeries locally, and a full supermarket within 10 minutes walk. Free chilled water and coffee available in reception too :) A brilliant cost-effective option compared to Basel city centre.

Our room floor was dusty, especially under the bed. Swimming pool is a great facility but was out of action 2 out of 3 days we stayed :(

The hotel as a hotel is excellent in terms of location, large rooms, it has everything you need, but one big complaint, which is why I give a slightly lower rating, is that in this summer period, when temperatures are over 35 degrees, there is no air conditioning in the rooms... I couldn't sleep at night because the heat and sweat wake me up when I can't sleep again...

About 15-20 minutes by tram from the train central station of Basel. Great price considering the Art Basel WE

The room was extremely hot. Few towels provided (just for 1 person)

Right on the Swiss border and cheaper than accomodations in Switzerland. Locked storage for bikes (but a bit complicated to get to).

Very basic furnishings, including a very small kitchen with no countertop space. Pretty hot, no air conditioning, and if you open the window, you have to listen to the traffic from a busy road the whole night.
