Good, not great for the price asked.

Location was great, supermarket and train station near by hotel.

The breakfast selection was very limited and considering the price we paid, the services were not justified. The pillows were uncomfortable. There were no power outlets near the bed or desk for a laptop, which was quite inconvenient.

“Good location, but not worth the price”

The location is good and convenient, especially for visiting the surrounding area. The mountain setting is nice.

The hotel was understaffed, and service was very limited throughout the stay. Breakfast options were very basic and insufficient, especially for a multi-night stay. Overall, the experience did not match the price paid and was not good value for money.

Treat yourself to a picturesque village in Switzerland

Location overlooking picturesque Filisur and proximity to Landwasser Viaduct. (Note ask staff best way to it. Do not follow Google maps on highway.) This was an impressive historical structure, Clean room, with comfortable bed and includes bath in bathroom. Stayed cool after heat of day. Quality restaurant for evening meals and very diverse and enjoyable breakfast. Walking distance from station complemented by local bus service. Friendly staff with a sense of humour.

Nothing, would have liked to stay longer. Was good to stay in relatively small village compared to the hustle and bustle in larger centres.

Poor value for money & poor service

Comfortable beds, lovely location

We arrived via the Glacier Express at about 5pm & the hotel looked closed as it was unlit. We let ourselves in through the open door & found our way down to reception but there was nobody there. We then found an envelope with our names with a room key & had to find our way to our room in the dark. Appreciating that there might have been a good reason for the hosts to be away, we would have at least expected a phone call or email explaining the arrangements. It was extremely unwelcoming and we didn't enjoy our stay The room was basic, the bathroom door wouldn't close & the shower leaked water all over the floor. The balcony floor was dirty & the paint on the railings faded & flaking. The doors needed painting & the internal decor was of a very low standard. One of the reasons we booked was that the hotel apparently offered a jacuzzi but there was nobody there to switch it on. There was also a sign saying it cost 12 chf per person! The following morning we eventually found our way to the breakfast room & there was very little choice. We decided on cereals but there was only enough for a small portion each. In all we felt it was terrible value for money, poor service and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Nice place for a visit in Albula valley

The lady at the reception was polite and helpful, we could book the room and check-in last minute. The room is really quiet at night and there is free parking.

The restaurant owner, responsible for serving the breakfast, is constantly in a bad and stressed mood.. He should reconsider if this is the right job for him. Breakfast is quite expensive for what is served.

Recommended alternative hotel if visit to St Moritz

The staff is super friendly, recommended us the way to the surrounding attractions. Offered us a ride to the train station as well due to our large baggage size. This place is good alternative if you cant secure any hotel at St Moritz during peak season.

The place is slightly far from the town St Moritz (approx 1 hour train ride). However, we manage to visit to Landwasser Viaduct in Filisur.

We had a nice breakfast with excellent cappuccino! Stayed in double room, which was very bright with sunshine whole day and balcony. It was very easy to park at the hotel, entrance literally by Coop supermarket and train station is just few minutes walk.

Nice service, terrible room

The location is good. A short drive from Bergun. Also the italian restaurant in the hotel has really good service and food.

We booked the family room with private bathroom. It was in the old part of the hotel. The room had a wooden floor with absolutely no varnish. I got a splinter in my toe because of this. The private bathroom was more of an inconvenience because the toilet had almost the same system as in airplanes except for the button. So, every time the liquid reached a certain level the toilet would flush automatically with an amazingly loud sound. Also, the glass walls of the "bathroom" were not up to the ceiling. Luckily we stayed only one night and the children woke up only twice during the night.
