Wonderful -- historic, comfortable, beautiful.

The staff was incredibly accommodating, and dinner in the restaurant was outstanding.

This isn't the hotel's fault but it seems that every town in Switzerland has at least one church that rings bells on the hour and the half hour throughout the day and night. Charming but if your window is open will blast you out of bed every 30 minutes (close your window if you are on the church side of the hotel)

Personnel is very friendly. Breakfast is tasty and fresh. There is a nice restaurant attached, where once again food and service is very good. The room for a single traveller was not big, but still had a desk and a nice view from the window, and the bathroom is renovated and very clean. There is no fridge or bar in the room, but it's not expected in this class of hotel. WiFi worked very well. The location of the hotel is great, right in the centre of the town. One can walk to the railway station or go hiking around.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful place.

Nice old property, with a good mix of modern design. Friendly, and helpful staff. Dedicated bike room. Really good menu and super continental breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff might ask guests who insist that everyone else has to listen to their loud mobile phones as they doom scroll through their Instagram feed to stop.

Peaceful yet central, ideal for winter sports

Central yet peaceful location in the heart of wonderful Bergün. My spacious single room was equipped with a comfy bed - great place to rest after a spent day outdoors. The hotel has also a very nice restaurant serving traditional Engadin dishes.

Brilliant all round and truly excellent value for money.

The owners/managers (Mr Baer/Ms Barandun?) of the Hotel ware really accommodating. My wife and I just managed to get the last train from Chur to Bergun after a long stressful journey from Geneva Airport. I think it was Ms Barandun that drove up to Bergun Station to meet us off the train with her car at twenty minutes past ten at night. Absolutely brilliant and so kind, as, the roads were quite icy and we would have struggled with luggage finding the hotel at night. I'm gluten free , so, required a special diet. I did tell them before our visit. They bent over backwards to ensure my dietry needs were met. The food was excellent and owners always found time to chat to us (despite being run off their feet ; it was busy!) and provide excellent advice. Room was great, large and with a great view over the mountains and to Latsch village. We will certainly visit again!

Nothing could be improved. The location was ideal. We are pensioners, walking was our priority. We walked every day over well marked tracks. with advice from owners as to best walks. Ms Barandun even provided advice about purchasing "Ice Spikes" for our hiking boots which were a godsend!

Lovely traditional hotel in a beautiful location

The hotel was lovely and welcoming - with amazing views of the village and the mountain. The breakfast was good. Overall it was easy to check in and out and the staff were friendly.

One day I arrived a little late for breakfast after a late night at meetings in Davos and although the food was still out, they said breakfast had closed and I wasn't able to get anything. It would have been nice to still get some food!

The Hotel was really nice: it is an old style traditional hotel. Staff was extremely helpful and polite. Breakfast was quite simple, but sufficient: tasty local products. Location is great: nearby the railway. Restaurant was nice too and food very tasty. The room was quite simple but still enough space.

Total stayed 5 nights in this hotel. very comfortable and thanks for the good service. the location is very strategic, not too far from train station and just opposite to grocery shop. the price is reasonable so definitely will come back.

Boa opção de hotel

Quarto limpo e confortável. bom café da manhã. Tem restaurante para jantar, preços normais da Suiça, ou seja, caro. Somente pedimos um prato com porco a milanesa e batata frita (Schnitzel), uma sopa do dia, uma cerveja e uma água, deu 65 CHF. Os pratos estavam deliciosos. O jantar deve ser reservado com antecedência e escolher entre dois turnos, pois fica lotado. Achei bem demorado o atendimento para pegar os pedidos. Tem estacionamento gratuito para o carro. Localização bem central.

Banheiro é realmente muito pequeno. Foi o único hotel de nossa viagem em que chegamos a meia hora antes do horário do checkin e não conseguimos entrar no quarto. Não tinha ninguém na recepção e, mesmo batendo a sineta, ninguém apareceu. E uma garçonete do restaurante nos disse para esperar até as 15 h, que era a hora do checkin. Depois de um dia bem cansativo de viagem, foi decepcionante. Outros hotéis nos deixaram entrar as 13 h. Se o quarto não estivesse ainda limpo e disponível eu até entenderia, mas nem quiseram nos atender.

Hôtel très bien situé pour l'Albula Trail, le musée des trains rhétiques, le personnel est très accueillant et le restaurant excellent, avec des spécialités locales et une carte originale :)

La chambre un peu petite, mais comme c'est un bâtiment ancien, c'est normal !

Nous avons eu une très grande chambre avec une vue magnifique. Les petits déjeuners sont délicieux avec des produits locaux. Nous avons pris 3 soupers au restaurant de l’hôtel : c’était un régal ! L’accueil personnalisé et les échanges quotidiens avec les patrons dont des conseils avisés de randonnée apportent une dimension supplémentaire à la qualité du séjour .

Sehr gutes Frühstück, die Lage des Hotels ist ideal. Sehr nettes Hotelierspaar, das auf jeden Gast persönlich eingeht, sich viel Zeit nimmt und versucht, unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Gemütliche Stuben mit viel Charme fürs Abendessen, gute Küche, nett angerichtet.

Die Servicefachperson am zweiten Abend war kurz angebunden, tat einfach ihre Pflicht, aber ohne innere Teilnahme. Schade!
