No private parking; breakfast not included

The room was clean and had a bathroom with shower. I was doing Cambridge exams the following day in Cremona, so preferred to drive there the evening before (I live near Bergamo) and stay at the nearest hotel to Scuola Media Anna Frank. There is a great church near the hotel dedicated to San Sigismondo. The following morning, I visited it: it is a great example of Manierismo Lombardo - well worth the visit.

The breakfast wasn't included and cost either €4 or €8 with booking.com: that annoyed me so I didn't have breakfast. With all the reviews I write for booking.com it should have been included. The receptionist realised my disappoint and gave me a free bottle of mineral water... Secondly, the hotel has no private parking so you need to park in the side street, not necessarily all that close to the hotel. I don't like parking in the street if possible and prefer hotels with private parking.

It's an OK-Level basic hotel, amenities are ok and it's fine to spend a night or two

Very basic and therefore EXTREMEMLY overpriced. 120 Euros for 1 single night in Cremona (with a small dog) is completely ridiculous, it should cost half of that, at the very most.

staff is very kind and friendly. the location is cosy and quiet town near Cremona central city. I could have a good sleep and good exercise. I went to running around the town in early morning.

Excellent but far away

Excellent breakfast - not only sweets but also protein. A very good room.

The hotel is far away from the center, but it was my mistake, that I didn't check the distance when booking. So, no restaurants nearby, only a take-away pizzeria, and a couple of bars that were not open on Sunday, when I arrived. There may be some buses going by, but I didn't want to spend my time in learning the system, so I walked nearly an hour with my luggage when I arrived (no taxis at the railway station) and left. It is easier if you have good feet or a car, or like to ride a bike, or have little luggage. Otherwise - a lovely place yo stay!

breakfast was a cold soggy joke. sure, there was a toasted sandwich, and some croissants. but eggs? all prepacked and poor.

Because of corona, the hotel was very quiet, I booked a single room but got a room with a bigger bed instead. Clean room and bathroom. The beautiful church of San Sigismondo is very close to the hotel, you can leave your car in the street towards the church. I went on foot to the city center, which is at half an hour walking distance.

Due to corona, the options at breakfast were quite meagre (Italian style sweet pastry), although the staff certainly did what they could, they brought yoghurt and fruit too.

Due giorni a Cremona

Personale all'accoglienza sorridente e disponibile, in pochi minuti Mattia mi ha spiegato tutto, check-in veloce, letto super comodo e stanza pulita. Il bagno sembra piccolo, ma gli arredi sono disposti in maniera intelligente, doccia molto comoda, nella mia camera era presente un terrazzo in condivisione con altre stanze ma avevo ugualmente una discreta privacy. Rapporto qualità prezzo molto buona.
