A superb location, with quality facilities and friendly, efficient staff.

The location and quality of the hotel and facilities are excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient. We particularly liked our room, its cleanliness and the excellent breakfast. We dined each evening in the Amalfi Restaurant in the hotel, which we thought had a varied menu, covering most tastes and was superb.

The only issue we were concerned about was the extremely high cost of drinks. To pay £14.50 for a beer and glass of wine is excessive and exceeds London prices. Also, we disliked the many dogs on the beach, with some owners not picking up after their pets.

The balcony seaview was stunning. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The cleanliness in the room was very good. The staff all very friendly and helpful. My husband and I had a thoroughly nice stay. 😀

This is the only criticism I can say about this hotel and that is the decor in places is a little 'tired' looking. Small rust patches on radiators, peeling paint on skirting boards, that type of thing.

Appeared to be a bit dated in places and the lampshades could do with being dusted. The outside area could do with a lick of paint & the gutters had foliage growing out of them.

Location, location, location. Very friendly staff. Comfy bed and lots of space in what was a, relative to Poole, very reasonably priced room. Great breakfast. Parking included, very rare in the area. Will definitely stay again, but for a week not just one night.

Maybe refresh the spacious bathroom which was completely clean and functional but showing its age.

Loved the location and the sea view was gorgeous.

The hotel was obviously built in the 60’s and so is very traditional in appearance, furniture etc. That’s fine, but the bathrooms really need updating. Climbing into a slippy bath with little to hold on to, is an accident waiting to happen 😬

Lovely long weekend at the beach

The room was bigger than we thought and, as there is water on both sides, you will have always a sea view :D We really liked the quick access to the beach and the options between two restaurants on site.

The windows could not be opened much and as the sun was shining a lot, it got quite hot in the room (no air conditioninig either as the hotel is fairly old). The breakfast on our first day was super busy, it was loud and the buffet was almost empty. On the second day we got up earlier to have a better experience and it was much calmer, also there was plenty of food, so we recommend going for breakfast early.

Good on site casual Italian restaurant serving very good food. Recommend the food. Lovely staff. Large comfortable room with 2 armchairs. His and hers basins. Very quiet room. Booked early so got a Good price. Would stay again.

No woman’s toilets on ground floor. Lift or stair access. Only 2 disabled bays. Need more. However manager gave permission for us to take 2 spaces because no disabled bay available and wide wedding car which was very accommodating. Mattress very thin for 2 people. Not so good. A Shame because room and bathroom good otherwise. Corridors a bit dated.

Nice having the indoor pool. Temperature was perfect but Kids came in shouting and messing about in pool. Lifeguard ignored it so we got out. They took over.

Hotel chosen for its location and secondly for cost. Was great VFM, staff very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, large choice and well presented.

Hotel room was furthest from reception, restaurant and facilities. Returning one say from my venture I found my door key didn't work and had to walk back to reception to get it reset

I always love the location. The room didn’t have a fridge but they were kind enough to bring one up on request.

Room was a tad tired. As it was my third visit in less than two months and hotel not busy they could have offered an upgrade for frequent visitor. The toiletries should be doubled up if two staying in the room would be more ideal.

Perfect location but hotel needs updating.

Location is fabulous. Coffee overlooking seafront was great. Staff in reception very friendly. Plenty of parking.

Requires updating. Furniture in room old fashioned and shabby. Bathroom needs modernisation as looks tired. Breakfast buffet fine but fried eggs were cold. More attention needed checking when items running low so don’t run out as no sausages, bacon or brown bread when I went up at 9:30am. Other residents were having to inform the staff in order for them to top up.

Lovely hotel on the beach

A nice clean room, great breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Location - right on the beach 10/10. Wish I could have stayed longer and would highly recommend!

The room walls seemed thin (room 19). I heard next door down on the phone, and on the other side a couple arguing and child crying. I could even hear the creaking of the beds on both sides. Not sure if it's something that can be fixed but worth a mention for those who require a restful night. Otherwise a really lovely hotel.
