Room was clean and already warm we we got here which I thought was fantastic. It was comfortable and practical with a wet room and muddy boot area. The walls are thin and I was woken up by bathroom taps both mornings. Other people complained of the same issue. Staff very variable in friendliness. The taxi service has two drivers only and we could not get a taxi on either day despite planning ahead. The local bus is great but infrequent. Conic hill was great and beautiful. The ferry was a really informative experience.. breakfast was very good. Would stay again.

Brilliant set up around a gorgeous location. There was a definite holiday vibe around the hotel, village shop and coffee shop of hikers, couples, friends of mixed ages and countries. Conic Hill, Lomond are within easy walking distance and we went cycling around Loch Katrine about 40mins away
