Lounge area was nice, big room and friendly staff. Plenty of hot water
Some areas still need painting which seems to be a work in progress. Some of the carpets are showing their age.

Great location for the West Highland Way. Pool and sauna/steam room facilities were very welcome, although the level of cleanliness (eg, changing rooms) was disappointing.
Overall level of cleanliness (eg, pool and sauna/steam room, bedroom), plus the facilities were somewhat dated generally, the hotel is in need of refurbsihment. We were also very disappointed with the poor selection for breakfast (eg, very 'basic' and poorly-presented).
