The grounds were great. Even managed to walk round in-between the wind and rain storms. Staff were excellent. Food was great. Room was lovely with amazing loch view. It was lovely to walk from the cold outside into a lovely cosy hotel with the fire going. Plenty of room to sit downstairs in the lounges watching the weather
Wish we were staying longer

The hotel was absolutely amazing , the hostory behind it was fascinating !
The staff were so friendly and helpful and definitely contributed to our stay being wonderful
We were there in the middle of a storm so couldnt see as much of the amazing grounds as we had hoped .

Wife wanted a castle and she picked this one. Absolutely beautiful inside and out.
Meals perfect, drinks plenty to choose.
Cannot fault anything with the accommodation.

Beautiful castle and grounds, very traditional and staff very friendly. Great breakfast,
Heating in bedroom broken and staff unable to turn off so had to sleep in 27 degrees - very hot and uncomfortable even with windows open on a cool night. Bed linen didn’t smell very fresh and insufficient toilet roll in the bathroom. Under the sofa in the room very dirty so cleanliness not what you world expect from a hotel of this standard
