The Grey Gull Hotel

Location and friendly atmosphere. Lovely bar and restaurant. Rooms clean and comfortable.

Building a bit run down needing a spruce up.

Relaxed and good breakfast. Lovely place by beach.

Some parts of building need a little work.

Super sea front location and a good relaxed welcome and catering. Recently renovated room was a bonus.

We had dinner and the food was good,service was good but the young waiter did not understand Everything we said.

We were given rooms at the top of the hotel which were a bit of a challenge as there was no lift Not good when you struggle with stairs when you are older. The floor in one room was far from level and the shower room was tiny and the toilet pan was not fixed on Properly so moved about. The pillows were the worst I have encountered, really shocking They were full of lumps, as if they had been washed and whatever was inside had come apart and was in bits. I did point this out to the manager but he was clearly not interested, didn’t even apologise.
