Stay in Hotel Riwo was ok. Loved the services provided and staff were the best.

Lots of activities to keep kids busy . Wonderful staff and good cuisines and good location.

Rooms were not that good. Needs a lot of improvement in that area.

Amazing family holiday in the best location

We had an amazing week in the Riwo hotel, the staff were amazing and it was one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in. Amazing air-conditioning in the room and the balcony was huge! Kids activities even in mid September, were top class

We did chose to stay in the smallest hotel on the resort but the food options, despite being perfect for me were a little limited for the children. The other hotels on site had more food options but overall this was a small thing.

The Entertainment staff were lovely, as well as the staff greeting us before every meal. The spa was very good and relaxing; we went twice during our stay there :-) The beach club was a really cool facility offered by the hotel, thankfully there were buses to collect and drop us off to and from the hotel to the beach club and these run frequently which was really helpful especially in the heat of summer. Facilities for the little ones even at night to do things such as trampolining and jumping were brilliant. the shop at the hotel had a lot of variety in terms of items that they offered, staff there were lovely and very helpful. Prices were expensive though.

The check in could have been more informative. The person attending to us seemed to be having an 'off' day so we didn't get as much information as i think would have made things a lot easier for us the first two days. Signage was very poor; we spent most of the time lost and trying to figure out where things were. We didn't find out about the beach club until late on the second day. When we asked at reception the lady told us to scan the QR code and all the information would be there. We didn't find this to be very clear on the site it took us to. So, we basically had to figure it out by ourselves. The wrist bands to open the door were awful, we couldn't get them to work until 4 or 5 attempts (every time). The food at the buffet wasn't great.

Fantastic hotel, brilliant pool, happy friendly staff. Just brilliant!

We travelled from Gibraltar and booked RIWO from the car park when we got there. There was some initial confusion as we wanted to book Holiday Village and within a short space of time that was organised for us. Holiday Village was excellent, very clean and modern. The room itself had a big balcony, kitchen, separate bedroom and it was perfect for us being a family of 4 with an 8 year old and 1 year old. The pool was great, staff were friendly and good fun, the food was really good and choice was excellent for the all inclusive deal. There wasn't much that was not to like and I would highly recommend for families.

The lifts are very slow, sometimes waiting 10 minutes to go down 1 floor. With a buggy there was no choice but the lifts but that was the only downside and nothing that overall spoilt the experience.

Ideal because we had young children with us. The staff were always very pleasant

No outside area to eat. A very small outside area to drink. The food at the snack bar at the pool was awful, cold and boring.

All inclusive not very inclusive

The rooms were spacious and clean, although the decor was dated. There were just enough activities in the kids club to keep the kids entertained in the morning.

The food was terrible, drinks options within all inclusive was restrictive and the quality of wine and sangria was poor. Considering the price of all inclusive, not everything was inclusive e.g. indoor pool can be used for only 1 hour in the entire stay, you have to pay to change the beach towel. If you don't pay, you will need to live with the dirty towel for the entire stay. You couldn't use the other restaurants, bars or facilities of the other Holiday World resort in the same campus

Relax at the Riwo

The hotel was immaculate and the staff were so friendly. Great food at the buffet too. The staff couldn't do enough to help and they were lovely to my grandson. A super hotel. We went out and about visiting local attractions as the weather wasn't great when we were there and needed taxis to get around so taxis or car hire is recommended to see other parts. The bedrooms were so large and very clean. The balcony was great too.

We ended up here on a few hours notice because the villa we had booked was totally unsuitable.

Good basic, hotel for families with younger children. Good food quality in the main buffet. Nice pool area with astro turf. Regular shuttle bus to the beach club.

Very limited bar and restaurant facilities. No access to the actual beach without a 20-30 minute walk. Environmentally friendly paper cups that go soggy in about 5 minutes!

Beach club but get there early as beds are limited. Food was much better there and more varied than in the hotel

For such a large hotel the food options were very limited. Hotel located in the middle of nowhere. Expensive taxi trips to nearest towns. Bus to beach club but no bus between any of the hotels after 6 if you want to see evening entertainment. Staff very friendly and helpful with the exception of one male reception staff who we found to be extremely rude and unhelpful on the occasions we had to deal with him. Booked an 8 day stay and left for a different hotel after day 3 which turned out to be a great decision.

Great for families!

The children loved it the water park the swimming pool the entertainment like the circus and the Brazilian show were amazing!! Staff very friendly and we asked to change room which they were amazingly helpful with just due to children with SEN. Water park is amazing!!!!

Would be nice to have a section where you can ask for something to be cooked ie breakfast to have omelet station and evening different meats or fish so it’s done as ordered and also nice and hot etc but tbh can’t fault it the children had a breath time and that’s the main thing!

overall a nice hotel but a few tweaks would make massive improvements

pros: all staff but specifically reception , cleaners and animation team were 10/10 so nice and fantastic to deal with. the bus to beach club was handy. plenty of sunbeds. playground has a sitting area for parents (at the back of the bar) which keeps both the kids and parents happy. a lot to choose from with all inclusive.

cons: beds are not comfy. air con is very poor. large ant colony on the balcony (living in the dead plants). food is repetitive for mealtimes and the snack bar. big crowds accumulate for the beach club bus and the dinner/lunch/bfast and ques are not managed so can be a bit chaotic ensuring you have a spot. mini golf area is not maintained. seemed like the other HW hotels got more to offer in all aspects than Riwo. the shop is very overpriced which is disappointing as it’s taking advantage of the fact there are no supermarkets close by!

Loved the facilities, the attention to detail. kids love the hotel and the aqua park. The staff are great Francisco at the bar and Mar Jiménez too really helpful and friendly. Cristina from the shop also extremely helpful and so kind with my family. The spa facilities are great and the amount of food, snacks and the all inclusive options is great. All day entertainment is great and night shows were great too. well done to all

Kids freindly. Good for our kids, 5 years old and 3 years old. Especially everyevening mini-disco for kids was superb. Stuff memebers are all very freindly with good Englsih skill. Meal is not super but above standard.

Wifi is a bit weak. You need to pay for a safe, 3 euros per day.
