Pleasant and peaceful!

The limited rooms reflect beautiful in the overall peace and tranquillity of the hotel. Spacious studios that serve perfectly for short or longer stays.

Convinced that an upgrade of certain parts of the studios or fixing the minor, used older pieces in some of the studios would surely lead to a global enhancement of the hotel.

We liked the hotel it just needs a little bit of work here and there to make it better

We liked the location which was right next to the train station. The staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was ok and good value.

Although clean the bathroom was very tired (especially the bath) and needs some attention. The patio door lock was broken so we didn't feel safe leaving things in the room. Even though we reported it, it didn't get fixed whilst we were there.

Location was great, just across from train station, very clean & comfortable room, breakfast was ok, lovely staff.

Bathroom was a bit in need of a refurb, toilet seat very loose, shower wet the bathroom quite badly, chairs on the balcony not very comfortable we didn't use the balcony for this reason.

Wouldn’t choose this place again unless they made some serious changes and repairs.

I chose this hotel due to the location close to the train station and golf courses we were playing. Most of the staff were very courteous and helpful, but one we encountered was rude to my husband.

The duvets we pulled from the closet were filthy dirty. I left them spread out on the bed in hope that they would give us clean ones when they cleaned the room. Instead they were just folded up and put on the end of the bed. Took them to the front desk and sweet Anna exchanged them for clean ones. The sliding glass door was broken and did not lock so that did not give us a secure feeling. Also the swimming pool is in need of serious repair. Many of the mosaic tiles were loose or missing. One afternoon we were entertained by a young child diving with a mask and piling up all the scattered tiles on the side of the pool that she was retrieving from the bottom. The breakfast was awful. Scrambled eggs always cold, runny and filled with egg shells.

Excellent value for the money

Excellent value for the money. The room is spacious, the location of the hotel was great, and the staff are friendly. It's right in front of the train station. The area is also peaceful and quiet. The parking can be difficult if you come by car, but usually there will be free parking space at night.

A peaceful, well-connected hotel offering great value, comfortable rooms, and helpful staff

Overall excellent value for money nowadays. The staff were always helpful. Check in was a couple of minutes. Room facilities were good. Comfortable room, like a small apartment. Beds on the hard side, no big deal. Location is about 75/80 minute walk to marina. But it's an easy scenic walk. If you know the area, you would probably cover that distance normally anyway. Train is right outside the hotel but the trains are electric/hybrid, so you don't really hear them. Wifi was solid. There's space by the pool to enjoy the sun. Around €10 in an uber/taxi to Marina. I'm using Marina as a reference point. Torremolinos about €12-13, Fuengirola centre about €10. So if all you want to do is walk around town and the beach, there's no need to hire a car. Even though the hotel is well out of the town centre, it's cheaper to take the train (door to door, from airport to hotel) and depend on taxis to get around. Or the bus at the bottom of the hill (6-7 min walk).

There wasn't much cutlery but if you clean as you go its never an issue. Longish walk into town, not necessarily a bad thing. Some balconies are shaded for much of the day. Some people like that, some don't. We spent most of our time out and about.

A lovely place to return to every time. Joyful crew of staff; pleasant and peaceful area; accessible with public transport (train Fuengirola-Málaga stops in front) and spacious studios with all amenities for a perfect stay.

A little surprised every time to see a new team of hotel staff again and again; the small details of checking if the soap dispenser works and is filled are precious details that residents appreciate; and for future reference when there is choice of room it might be pleasurable if recurring residents get to state their preferred side and/or floor.

10/10 Accommodation! Loved it!

Perfect time in Vive Costa Azul! We enjoyed our time here, as the location was easily accessible. The cleanliness of the hotel was next level, the room was just perfect - large and comfortable with a good view of the pool and the sea! The breakfast selection was quite decent and really tasty. Definitely 10/10!

The "free" parking that is advertised on Booking is not existant. There is a hotel parking which you can pay 10EUR per night, or as suggested by the receptionist, use the free parking right accross the street (which is basically parking for the Metro station).

Perfect transport links and great amenities

Great location, especially for transport links. Peaceful and quiet. The apartment was immaculate and it had so many more amenities than I realised it would! Staff were helpful and friendly. I’d absolutely stay again.

The main foyer smelt a bit like drains and also for a brief period my bathroom did. The body wash/soap dispenser in the shower was empty and I had run out of toiletries as I was staying near the end of my stay in Spain.

Nice hotel, 20 sec from the station and 15 min from the sea. Good breakfasts, nice atmosphere. Rooms on the 1th floor are not for the sensitive sleepers. Right behind or window in the morning started sport classes with music. It was very close. Almost in our room ))

Bardzo monotonne śniadania, codziennie to samo, jajecznica niejadalna, przypalona, mimo zwrócenia uwagi obsłudze podczas sniadania nie zostało zaproponowane nic innego, usłyszeliśmy ze taka po prostu jest i skończyły się jajka, co w hotelu nie powinno miec miejsca. A raz czy dwa była normalna i świeża. Jedzenie nie bylo regularnie dokładane, mały wybór. Czystość sali śniadaniowej i stolików pozostawia wiele do życzenia. Obsługa recepcji i śniadań wychodząca na papierosa przed obiekt i paląca pod głównym wejściem, to juz przesada. Zostawiali hotel bez obsługi. Pani sprzątająca nie rozumiała ani słowa po angielsku. Na prośbę wymiany ręczników zabrała brudne i nie dostarczyła nowych.

Kosla huoneessa on jääkaappi, mikro, vedenkeitin, 2 hellalevyä, PITÄÄ huoneessa olla myös KAHDELLE (samaa paria) kahvikupin, pienet lasit, viinilasit, haarukat, veitset, isot ja pienet lusikat, matalat ja syvät lautaset ja paistinpannu. Mut oli vain satunnaisesti yksittäisiä kappaleita ja osa puuttui kokonaan ja piti aina pyytää erikseen - parempi että siivous henkilökunta tms. Varmistaa ennen asiakkaan tuloa että kaikki kunnossa.
