Greate place for everyone who missed their plane :)

It was fast decision cause we missed our plane and it was nearest location to wait till the next day flight. At the end it exceeded our expectations cause staff was very friendly and opened and at the same time the whole room was in the greatest possible state. The restaurant which is in the hotel is also serves very delicious food which transformed this experience from misfortune to the very pleasant emotions.

I think there was nothing which I didn't like.

A good place to stay when travelling through Rome Airport

A convenient and comfortable hotel near Rome airport. It is a short walk to the centre of Fiumicino where there are many restaurants, including a favourite, Osteria Ipolitto, which we would recommend for a special meal. In summer the pavement cafes and bars are usually buzzing, but in October it was much quieter.

As we came late season the swimming pool was closed. After a long journey from the south of Sicily to Rome, we would have appreciated the opportunity to bathe.

A comfortable hotel for a one night stay before my flight the next day.

Check in was easy and quick. Staff were nice. The bathroom seemed renovated and very clean which is always a nice when travelling.

Furniture and bedding linen in the room is tired and could do with an upgrade. No cups in the room for coffee/tea.

Nice airport hotel with a very good restaurant

It’s a very nice airport hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The service was good, with a polite and helpful front office team. The staff at the Leonardo Restaurant were excellent and made the dining experience especially enjoyable. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

The only suggestion I would make is to include paper tissues as a standard amenity in the room or bathroom.

EXTREMELY LOW CLEANING QUALITY

The location was very close to the airport so I recommend to book a hotel like this a day before your flight it is very comfortable. Also a shuttle from the hotel to FCO and back.

We arrived and got a very dirty looking room on first floor (dirty sheets, dust on sheets and tables, hard breathing smell). So we asked politely to clean it and the receptionist said right away it will be cleaned now, so we went on lunch to not spend time. After 2 hours we came back to discover nothing was done, we came back to lobby to seek for answers and they said, so sorry the cleaner couldn't make it yet (2 hours). So we asked politely again to move a room and they said of course it is even better for them, we got a very small upgrade to a room when we got it, dirty, poor quality, and the towels smelled like MOLD YES MOLD, also mold on the walls but we decided we don't have the energy to move again it was getting late so we went to the town and took the room for sleep only. The receptionist said we can take everything from the mini bar on the house, when we opened the fridge, a bottle of water. Thank you for the water.. So basically a very low quality hotel the cleaning is bad and is not recommended. I will not upload the photos because they are embarrassing and I'd rather not to.

Overpriced horrible establishment! Unfortunately the hotel is one of the closest to the airport so they can charge what they like. However they even charge you for their”shuttle bus” service to the airport! It’s not included! Bed is the worst I’ve slept on. Don’t sleep. Very old and run down facilities. Breakfast poor. Coffee machine broken. Don’t stay here

Changed my previous accommodation to Mercure because if the pool. I called ahead to make sure the pool was operating because I had read reviews to say that it had closed but was told that all was good when we arrived. The pool was closed so we were very disappointed. The front staff were lovely but we were disappointed we couldn’t swim in the big pool.

They were not ready to receive us even though it was late after check in time. No towels in the room, kettle but no cup or glasses. Also the swimming pool was the reason to choose Mercury but in the end it was not suitable for use so very disappointed.

Even though I travel to Rome a lot, it was very hard to research an airport hotel for an early flight. In fact, I originally reserved an AirBnb, but last minute changed to this. It ended up being the right choice. While not directly at the airport, the SIT bus takes one more stop that is right next to the hotel. It is on the main strip with restaurants, but also has its own facilities, including a well-maintained pool. Convenient shuttle services to the airport.

The pool staff should enforce rules about people playing their phones without headphones by the pool. The hotel has made the effort to curate nice relaxing music for the poolside experience, and other guests should not have to intervene themselves when cretinous guests can't respect that!

Wonderful lace to stay

Loved almost everything. The shuttle drivers were great. Pizza in the restaurant was great. The room was incredibly quiet even with it's proximity to the airport.

The bed and the pillows were typically European meaning hard as a rock, this was normal for europe but just not right for me.

The taxi from the airport was $30 euro the dinning room opened at 7:30 pm the pool was closed the whole time, did have a nice garden area free shuttle to airport, we came from a cruise and got there early and had to leave luggage and wait in the garden area for a bout 2 hours.

a map of the area, we asked, and the reply was use your phone, well that does not give any information you need. we just started walking and AFTER A MILE found a better place to have dinner. found a Sunday market of homemade goodies.

Basic, forgettable hotel. Nothing memorable, except the restaurant

The hotel's in-house restaurant is the best thing about this hotel. Very good food, well presented. Breakfast was OK.

Rooms very basic with just the bare minimum of amenities, but lacking in ordinary things like a box of tissues and no proper soap. Quilt too small for the bed. Nothing to make a memorable experience. Wouldn't bother returning. Fortunately for us, it was just an overnight stay after a long flight before we moved on.

Great place near airport

Suite was large and nicely appointed. Mini bar with options was good. Front desk was very helpful in arranging transportation to and airport. Transportation from airport was easy. Restaurant at hotel for dinner was VERY good. My family raved that the grilled octopus was the best ever and they eat it often in US. Service in restaurant also great. Many areas you can walk to for eating.

You could view the upstairs shower from the lower level of the suite. They did leave a dirty towel on the shower floor when we arrived

Very nice short stay

We had the two story 2 bedroom apartment on the 5th floor and it was beautiful and very modern. Lovely room. Breakfast was very nice and had great coffee and selection of food was great. Staff were lovely. Close to the supermarket if you need anything. Only stayed one night but would recommend the Mercure to friends and family.

It was good for a 1 night airport stay.

We were 10 minutes to the airport terminal. The hotel arranged for a taxi as the shuttle service begane after our scheduled departure time. The room had a nice shower and large lighted mirror.

The mattress was terrible, too soft & springy. There was no hair dryer in the room. I had to ask for one at the front desk after I took my shower at 4 am. Bathroom pocket door did not close all the way. At dinner they never brought us the bottled water that we ordered & ignored us when we tried to get their attention.

Close to the airport with plenty spaces for parking and a breakfast with good variety. Also the hotel provides free airport shuttle but I didn't use it

The furniture was old and not well maintained, and the air conditioner was only blowing air without cooling. No staff helping with luggage and to reach the elevator there are several steps that you need to carry your suitcases alone on them
