Perfect hotel for our Christmas break in Lucerne.

Rooms were superb and nothing was too much trouble. (Eg I wanted single duvets instead of one large one and these were immediately provided). The staff were welcoming and helpful. Also the restaurant was very good and had a lovely ambiance. The Christmas decorations were tasteful and added to the warmth of the hotel.

Comfortable and a good night's sleep - what you expect from a good hotel.

Nice spacious room, good sound insulation, no noise heard from other rooms, willingness of the reception staff to help us change room when we discovered the TV screen was shattered.

The TV screen in our original room was shattered (not noticeable when the TV is off). We contacted reception to let them know and they offered to have us change our room.

Not sure I have been "upgraded" as mentioned here and there... (because I was upgraded once in this hotel and it was real, not this time). Being told that I was upgraded when I am not is a bit irritating.

Amazing stay at Radisson Blue

The location is perfect near all the attractions and everything is so accessible. The trains, boats and the bus stations are just 5 mins away. The property was quite clean.

-Prime location, very close to Lucerne train station and within walking distance of Old Town and lake. -Modern rooms with large windows offering natural light and lake views. -Friendly staff.

-The bathroom design in my room has a flaw: the door is very close to the bed, and the light from the bathroom shines into the bedroom if you turn it on at night.

hotel communication is unbelievable - any question I asked on booking was immediately automatically answered that they will respond, and... never responded. Because of that we parked at hotel and it was super expensive, could have parked somewhere else twice cheaper. I'll skip the part that shower head was leaking and with their no-door bathroom design whole floor was wet. We told stuff, but it never got fixed.

We liked the location and hotel, however we have to request each time for toiletries related things like filling body wash, slippers etc. Apart from this, the location is great , staff are helpful and breakfast is really great. Very close to train station.

This is a great hotel. I was skeptical at first because I never stay at Radisson hotels in the US. But this one was amazing. Great room design, contemporary look and feel, modern lobby and bar, and an enjoyable restaurant. The location is perfect. It’s very close to train station as well as the pier for boat travel. Chapel Bridge is about a 7 minute walk. Lion Monument is about 15 minutes. This was a fantastic surprise for accommodations in Lucerne.

Location is extremely near the train station but a rather huge detour is needed on foot because one cannot walk across the train tracks to reach the hotel.

Decent and comfortable stay

Location was superb, about 5min walk to the train station if you go by the overhead bridge. Rooms were clean and modern. Provides room slippers which some hotels don’t provide. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Drainage for shower area wasn’t great, even after they sent someone to service. However, this may just be a room or the drainage system problem as we also encounter it in 2 other hotels throughout our stay in Switzerland.

We had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu in Lucerne!

First, the staff - very friendly, courteous, and professional. Secondly, the convenience - the hotel was not in the hustling part of the old city, but was an easy walk away from all the tourist activities. Also, the restaurant breakfast was outstanding. Lastly, parking was very convenient. The hotel accommodates a LOT of visitors from tour groups along with others like us, yet it seemed very quiet and calm.

A very good room and a very good location; But otherwise the experience felt bit ordinary. The room rates were top tier but the facilities and the hotel set up was rather ordinary. However the friendliness of the staff - mostly reception staff - made us feel - good overall. So we are grateful and appreciate your effort.

Nice upgrade, excellent room, friendly staff

Leaving the parking garage : ticket didn’t t work, and the person operating the exit barrier told 2 x the barrier was lifted when it wasn’t . She didn’t t bother to talk to me when I called a third time with the barrier still closed. Had to park the car, go back to reception, and finally could leave. This lady needs a crash course in customer service.
