Nice but not enough to stay again

It's a majestic property and beautifully designed. Most staff are brilliant and the pool and sea areas are superb.

It feels very corporate. The welcome is nice but formulaic and not all the ocean view rooms view the ocean. In particular around room 411 which looks partly to a wall and partly to wind towers of the buildings in front. It does point in the direction of the sea! Although the hotel acknowledged that the ocean view room lacked a view of the ocean, they showed me another with an even worse aspect looking at a different wall, then kept me waiting for 40 minutes to tell me all they could do was upgrade me to a suite costing almost 4 times the amount per night to the ocean view I had requested. Now, to be fair, although they didn't move on the price they threw in club lounge access and early check-in which was kind. Also, on the Saturday the hotel was absolutely packed with people visiting and the pool area reverberates with the brunch band playing on the terrace. In essence, a lovely hotel with a great location but too corporate, a little slow in acknowdging an issue, having no flexibility to do the right thing and offer a room with an ocean view and all in all, as. Gold Jumeirah One member for a decade or more, offering next to no loyalty to Jumeirah supporters.

The quality of this hotel is just excellent! From the cleanliness, the opulent design and great restaurants of multiple cuisines around the world! Amazing experience! The beach was so clean, clear water, you can see the fish swimming from Pierchic bridge. Swimming in the Arabian Sea was a bliss with Burj Al Arab as your background. We really enjoyed our stay here 💕

Our first day, the receptionist brought us to the wrong side of the hotel, we were supposed to be in the East wing😂 When we checked out, the receptionist forgot to explain the extra charges reflected on my bills😅 I am guessing they are new😁 other than that, what a pleasure to experience services from Al Qasr hotel.

Our room was very elegant, we were welcome with Dubai chocolates, bowl of fruits and cute camel plushies for our kids! ♥️ The view from the hotel and around the resort was breathtaking!💕 I especially love our view from Pierchic😍 The water was so clear on the beach, I can see fishes swimming from the ONDA bridge! We had our first dinner at Laparrilla, the journey from Al-Qasr to Jumeirah beach hotel at night was just a breath of fresh air. Very romantic scenery everywhere. So many good restaurants with beautiful views next to the Arabian Sea, definitely would stay here again! 😁

The only hiccup was when we checkout, the receptionist didn’t take her time to explain thoroughly additional charges made, I assumed she was new, but other than that, a great hotel and experience for me and my family, Syukur Alhamdulillah 🥰

Al Qasr is a perfect place to stay and is my 'happy place'.

We have stayed here 3 times and have been to Dubai 11 times and what we like is the standard of service and the quality of the resort. We visited Dubai in the middle of September 2025, due to a cancellation of our holiday in Turkey and the alternative, unfortunately was to the Amwaj Rotana. This hotel was never a 5 star hotel and we decided to return to Al Qasr, so we spent 3 nights there. This is our favourite hotel at Madinat Jumeriah and we have stayed in all the hotels here.

Quality and service, the friendliness of the staff and one particular member of the staff at Al Qasr remembered me as I did him, from 3 years ago. His name I think was Stuart, as I couldn't quite catch it properly when he was checking us in.

The room space with massive with excellent bathroom facilities, the pool was over sized with plenty of deck chairs available and great staff giving out free iced water all day. We didn't order food poolside but what we saw coming out looked pretty good. Loved the water ways and free boats and shuttles to Water World.

Nice stay, but value for many was much better before COVID, last stayed in winter 2019.

Breakfast, location, resort set up.

Many things, which I expected to have and used before (staying 5th time in the Madinat hotel complex) are not longer there. For example - No Shuttle bus to Mall of Emirates, Club room - no longer buffet during the lunch time hours and timing has been changed to less convenient. Before was from 2 - 4pm, no from 3 - 4.30pm. Happy hour in the Club room in the evening. Also hours changed to less convenient. Before was from 7 - 9pm. Now from 5-7pm, which doesn't suit. Absence of beach towels on the sunbeds on the beach and pool. You have to ask the attendant for them and tell room number (for what? we do not pay for them and even if towel has taken or damaged you can't do anything about it, it could be any person passing by who could do it).

Not nice as always was.

I was in Al Qasr several times. This time I can give 8 points. Not as usual 10. The team cleaning team was great. Aspecially Nabraj was very helpful. Interior of the hall is always gorgeous.

I didn’t like that I ve asked the booking manager to prepared some little snacks in the room because I would come at the hotel around 12 o’clock at night and would missed my dinner. Actually I explained that it is important to have them. I must be early in the morning at the meeting and don’t have time to wait food to be prepared at night. I should restore properly. I was told that everything would be done. So when I came nothing was at the room. Then I decided to order myself, I called 0 and wait for so long but nobody answered me. It was around 2 o’clock at night. Big disappointment. Also, after several days of staying at the hotel I have to change my flight for early morning and tried to book early breakfast, many of the employees never heard of this options. When I booked it when finally reached the answer from “0”, I was told that some things like “sliced avocado “ is not included) I asked may I extra order it with extra payment, I heard again:”Not included “.

Location is great. Having the Suek next door is fantastic. Rooms are good. Could do with a freshen up though. Pool area is good. Staff are lovely.

Breakfast isn’t great. Lots of the food sits out and loses quality. Coffee standard is not very good at all. We usually stay at the Mina Salam and would be inclined to go back to the Mina Salam next time we go.

At Al Qasr Hotel, all the staff and workers make you feel that you are the owner of the place and take all your requests with attention and seriousness with prompt service.... I very much enjoyed staying with the family.

The lack of a hand sprayer in the bathroom. It was a shock to me that this matter was not made clear in the room information, especially as we Muslims are accustomed to bathrooms being equipped with a hand sprayer...... Please take the issue into consideration and provide all bathrooms with what suits the needs of guests of the Gulf countries.
