Professional staff, cleanliness and comfort.

The location is the best part of this hotel next to Wahda Mall and next to the mosque. The facility while aged (in a nice way) has been maintained very well and is extremely clean. In terms of staff service levels, the saving grace came in the form of Nicholas and Lenreed who more than made up for the shortcoming of a couple of others, with their warm and friendly nature and always being so very helpful. They stand among the finest service level officers I have dealt with during my entire 20 years living in the UAE. Their kind of service is hard to come by even in the most highly rated hotels globally. They should be training the other staff. Special mention on Ali from the restaurant, always made my breakfast time feel at home. Kudos to all three of them!

The only negative aspect of my stay was a couple staff who were not professional.

The pervasive smell of cooking and food from other rooms was overwhelming throughout the entire floor. The odor would seep into our room, either through the door or the ventilation system, making it impossible to escape. This intense smell lingered all day and often persisted into the night, creating an uncomfortable and persistent issue during our stay. While we understand that some cooking odors are to be expected with this type of room booking, the intensity of the smells was overwhelming. It was so strong that even the guests in the room causing the odors would sometimes open their doors and windows in an attempt to air out the smell.

Location was good

Old and dirty facilities. Valet parking is non existent, had to ring for someone to come out. Food choices were extremely limited for dinner and breakfast.
