Service was good and they welcomed us with smiles.

The room was really loud. It was really hard to sleep becouse you can hear all the noise from the street below. There was poor soundproofing in the windows. In addition the sound from elevators was really loud and it was 24/7. Even in the middle of the night the elevators would just make ding, ding, ding sounds. I don't really know why would they make elevators have such loud noise... So there was a lot of noise and we went to reception to ask some earplugs but they didn't have any.

Run down and noisy with lots of traffic but a clean hotel ok for a night to just sleep

Easy access to the bus station, nice beds and spacious rooms

Poorly soundproofed and the noise in the roads was loud, I could hear the lift going and into the hallway regularly and the area was very run down and deprived. The prices were half the booking.com price too. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Breakfast was very mediocre. service was not good, and there was poor variety of food . The croissants were uncooked!

My nights sleep was ruined by the vibrations from the night club 7 floors above! when I went down to the lobby and spoke to the night manager, he claimed to have asked for ot to be turned down. It could even be heard faintly in the lobby, which the manager claimed not to hear, thus accusing me of making it up. I asked for ear plugs and was told they had none, until I settled down to sleep in the lobby. after which they miraculously appeared, allowing me to return to my room and sleep until the noise stopeed at 3am.

A truly dreadful hotel

Absolutely nothing

This was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in in the Middle East – your first impression upon arrival is the heavy security presence and staff members staring at you as you arrive – it may be something to do with the groups of guys that seem to linger outside at night. The reception is not very welcoming, the rooms are old and tired, there was constant noise of doors slamming through the night when I stayed there, the breakfast on the 16th floor was a miserable experience also. Finally, it’s not in a very attractive part of town with limited options for nice restaurants within walking distance – the worst of it all was – this hotel was actually very expensive to stay in at USD 400 per night when I stayed there – I would certainly not recommend it.

Honestly nothing & even if something was good. All the negative things ruined it in my eyes.

Note: i rarely leave reviews but when i do i mean them ❤️ Arriving: Since i arrived i’ve seen that there are 0 self parking areas which is whatever i don’t care that much. Next after entering i have been ignored by the 2 receptionists standing while i was in-front of them “first male was busy on the phone” “second female was “busy on the computer” ok i gave them their time & was talked to normally they finished my booking then when i went to enter the elevator i was stopped by the elevator security like i was a criminal trying to sneak in. Stay: The bed’s are ok. The bath tub had a mold like substance! Almost moldy & even the shower head was extremely poor. Recommendation: Do not book this hotel ever!!!! Treated like that when i am a LOCAL, i can’t imagine what they’ll do to tourists. Trash hotel

Hotel full of loaded fun

Very nice hotel to stay. It was really enjoyable stay. Arabic guy Mohammad welcomed us in reception. He gave me a big surprise by giving upgraded room with a bed docoration because it was my birthday. I would like to give him big thanks for making my day. They have a night club as well and i had a big fun at the club.

Not allowed my friends to enter my room without their ID even showing the picture, my friends had to travel very long distance to get the ID. very strict rules.

The bed was big and comfortable bathroom was great and they lent me an adaptor for the UAE and let me check in at 11:30am.The porter was very nice and let me charge my phone in the lobby and they stored my bags for me.

I wish someone from reception called me at 10pm because I told them when I checked in that I needed to check in early (arrived at 6am from Sydney) and check out before 11pm because of a late flight at 2:20am. I ended up missing my flight to Athens because my alarm was turned off by accident and I should have reminded reception to give me a wake up call. I know that is also my fault but the reception could have written a note to the night shift reception about me checking out at 11pm for a late flight.

An excellent hotel with an even better staff

Although we had a very short stay at the Grand Villaggio Hotel, we had an amazing time! The room was great, spacious, clean, with a nice view and very near to the Central Bus station and a mall. But the biggest perk of this hotel is it's staff! Everyone we met was extremely helpful, friendly and it really made our stay amazing. We hope to be back!

Before booking this hotel, it is important to know that it doesn't have a restaurant. It was not a problem for us, since we were informed about this, but I would just like to point it out just in case. In any case, there is a cafe in the lobby with some pastries, and the staff told us about different restaurants nearby the hotel, so that is also an option for hungry travelers. :)
