Good location, quiet and cozy.

I like that there is nothing superfluous, the breakfast had everything you need to eat without exaggeration. Zero food waste breakfast. The room had everything we needed to relax for one night and then continue to explore Switzerland. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom had everything we needed, quiet, warm, a pleasant stay.

Only thing it was missing was a washing machine . As it's an apartment and catering to families it was have been nice to have a washing machine .

The staff were great and the location is ideal for exploring the best of Zurich. Very clean. Although not an extensive breakfast, what there was was lovely and we really enjoyed it. Would have no problem staying here again.

The noise from the bar below is load and those rooms overlooking could find it too load if you need to keep windows open for air as no air con. We stayed in December so air con not essential but we did like to get fresh air into the room of an evening so it was rather load until early hours.

A lovely stay in Old Town Zurich

It is an easy walk from the nearest station, the check in was easy too. The location is fabulous, all the Old Town within walking distance, for my first time in Zurich, this was perfect! The room was big, calm and quiet. Bathroom is big and clean with large, soft towels. The room also benefits from decent TV, kettle, iron, safe, and free water in the mini fridge too.

Great little hotel

Quiet hotel in the old town, so easy to get to so many places. We had to move rooms to a twin room, but the gentleman that assisted in arranging that delivered our bags to our room when we were sightseeing. Everything we asked for was delivered. Great for a mother and daughter weekend.

For some the lack of reception before 11 and after 8 could be a slight issue.

The perfect location for Zurich city trip

The location is very central and the room was big and comfortable. The reception team was friendly and helpful.

The bathroom could be a bit cleaner. There was no air conditioner but an electric fan so it might be warm in summer time.

This is not a luxury hotel

Location is central

The hotel has no air conditioning. Even in mid-September the room was far too hot to sleep in. Two fans are provided, but even with these and with the windows open it was extremely uncomfortable. There is no front desk or bell service in the morning, so finding a taxi is very challenging.

Location and rooms

I arrived late, no staff available, the entrance looks not like a hotel, it doesn‘t even say Hotel Rössli. It looks like a Residence entree. I wasn’t even sure to be in the right place. It is a building with rooms. No charm ans no staff to ask guidance. The entrance door was wide open at 9 pm, which concerned me regarding security. The keypass worked fine. On entering the room the main light did not work. i felt like in a ghost hotel… abandoned and dark. I made my way with my phone light. The temperature way 32 inside and I could not get it down all night. The windows could not be left open without curtains in front because there is a man all day and night opposite that can see you. They left a Dyson ventilator, which did not make a difference unfortunately. They said that they can’t put air con in ( in the reviews) because it’a a protected old building. I don’t believe that, as Kindli Hotel is as old and is AC’ed. The room looks clean at first sight. However it is not really. Floors are not wiped. Bathroom door has make up stains and side table has gluey stuff stuck on it. Too expensive.

The perfect location for exploring Zurich!

The location was perfect for exploring Old Town and close to public transportation. It was super easy to get to from the airport.

The weather was quite warm while we were there and although we had fans, it was still rather warm for sleeping.

This property is perfect provided the weather is not hot.

The location was perfect in the old town part of Zurich. Most tourist attractions were within walking distance or a short bus/tram ride. The rooms were bright and clean.

The 2 bedrooms (no AC) were like a furnace all the time. We did have a Dyson fan, but all it did was circulate hot air. We unsuccessfully tried to sleep with all 5 windows and curtains fully open. These conditions would be totally unsuitable for elderly people or babies.

Great location but the construction noise and not having access to rooftop patio ruined it for me.

The location and the cleanliness of the room was great

1) Wasn't informed about a major road construction next to the hotel that started at 7am. 2)The hotel photos included a rooftop patio, which was a reason why I chose this location. However, the staff informed me that the rooftop patio was only available to top floor unit. Be truthful in advertising
