Fantastic hotel, really was magical.

Really was a magical experience. The hotel reception and lobby were absolutely amazing! Really exactly like the pictures on the website. Rooms were great with just enough space for a family of 4. Kids lived the bunk beds and the moon light above the bed. The breakfast was fantastic with plenty to offer from eggs and bacon to fresh fruit and pastries.

There were very few lifts working while we were there which made it difficult getting up and down to the room with two small kids. The pool was closed for maintenance- but we had the option of using some other pools a bus ride away.

Worst hotel ever

It is close to Disneyland

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever been to, everything is dirty, smelly, disgusting. Lights did not work, staf on the reception is condesending and not helpful at all, food is bad and the restaurant is filty. If you can find another hotel.

All good until last moment made it horrible experience

Everything was beautiful until we were about to leave as we came to our car someone had stabbed my Tyre and I went to reception to complain about it and they were very unhelpful n abrupt and said u need to complain to police first n then we will see if we can help so that ruined the whole experience! It’s a shame that carpark of this hotel is not safe and a bigger shame that the staff do not give a damn about it if u have such a problem I would never stay in this hotel again.

Checked back out within 20 mins of arrival

Within 20 mins of checking in we left the property, dirty, smelled, dusty, excessive number of flys in the room and a heavy coat of dust on the furniture. We paid upfront for this and had to then check into the dream castle hotel which cost us a further £234 and couldn’t get our money back from grand magic. Very upset with two young children

Average motel like

Location to Disney is great, the free shuttle to and from Disney was really good. The shuttle bus is about 10mins from Disney. Very basic hotel, more like a motel. It’s very run down and needs a major clean and refresh. Room smelt musty when we arrived. The luggage hold was great to have when we arrived early and headed to Disney. Checkin staff were nice.

The buffet breakfast was really disappointing. The food tasted like it had been left over for a few days. Had to ask three different staff for milk.

Practical stay as Disneyland hotel alternatives at fraction of the cost

thank you for the upgrade, the room was fantastic for a family. My daughter really enjoys the room and the decorations. the dinner buffet was convenient after a day at Disneyland.

Good location and visually very attractive. Very nice breakfast and staff.

On the first night the shower in the room did not have hot water, only lukewarm-cold. We had 2 room keys, where if one of them was inside the room, being used by someone, it was not possible to enter the room with the other key. The shuttle from the Disney parks to the hotel should be much more frequent at park closing time, as everyone pushes to get on it and it is very unpleasant.

Disappointing but it served a purpose

Shuttle bus and proximity to the park. Staff were also friendly

No air conditioning despite advertising. Room didn’t go below 23 degrees once even with the window open. Breakfast quality wasn’t the best. Outdoor space but no playground for kids, and no evident evening entertainment. Lack of signage telling guests to be quiet - particularly late at night. Cleaners replaced bedding and towels but one towel smelt, and they never once took any empty crockery / glasses away. If I was visiting for one night I’d expect a full clean so why not for 3 nights?

Apart from a good location there is nothing else I would recommend about this hotel.

It was based in a good location.

The property was very basic. The toilets just off reception were dirty and always had a bad smell in them. The showers in the pool were freezing cold and have no doors on them for privacy in a mixed changing room. The pool was freezing cold and un enjoyable due to the temperature. The staff at breakfast were unpleasant. The general temperature of the hotel including the rooms was boiling and when asking how to use the air conditioning unit in the room I was told that they don’t offer air conditioning this time of year.

Great hotel but service is not adequate for a 4 star hotel

The hotel is marvelous. Would use again. Relaxing atmosphere, on the verge of magical.

Reception staff were ok. However restaurant staff leave a lot to be desired. Bar too (except for one who was amazing with cocktails). Food took too long to be delivered and would not even prepare some plain pasta with cheese for the kids. No milk would be given to us for a baby (we wanted to pay for it!!!). Coffee in rooms was very limited and if you accept not to change your towels, expect no coffee and tea in your room.

Easter break with the family

2nd visit (both Easter) with my family, adjoining rooms which were clean and an ideal size. TV didn’t work on arrival in one of the rooms and took 24 hrs + to fix? Well sort of fixed, it still turned itself off every few mins 🤷 Breakfast was fine but not as good as the previous year. A bit of a bun fight, not shown to a table and finding one for 6 was a challenge… unable to bring a bag, no matter how small into the restaurant wasn’t ideal… good location though. 👍

Quirky and fun- nice theming throughout. Connecting rooms for larger families was ideal Good location for Disney park

The swimming pool and changing rooms did not feel hygienic. Partly due to wear and tear but also people left dirty nappies in the changing rooms, plasters and toilet paper wet on the floor. Breakfast was VERY busy which made the buffet feel unhygienic with hands grabbing pastries rather than waiting for the serving tongs. Perhaps managing the flow of people going up to the counters would help. Could do with more staff on reception, had to queue for pool towels as there were families waiting to check in and only one receptionist on duty.

Magic Stay

The Hotel is in a very convenient location for Disneyland guests and offers a shuttle bus every 20 minutes. The facilities are amazing and staff too. Breakfast buffet and dinner buffet were very diverse and delicious. My son loved every bit of it.

Swimming pool was a little too cold for us and the hotel corridors do need some refurbishment attention.

The proximity to DisneyLand

The price; the shuttle is CROWDED; food wasn't great; was NOT exceptionally clean. My main complaint is that the hotel and the convenience of the location and the shuttle do NOT match the price. It is far too expensive for what you get. Would not stay again.

Breakfast was very poor not enough options overcrowded understaffed difficult to manage with a young child, room a/c did not function nor did many lights within the room the room as a whole is in well used and maintenance is being kept up to date or redecorated.

I don’t remember any thing we like. Because we did everything by our self. No help no nothing. The only thing is good at this place are the staff and there smile.

Over the years that I have traveled, at least I have stayed in approximately 50 different hotels, and this hotel is the worst in several aspects, which are the following: 1 It does not put water in the rooms 2 The attached rooms are very narrow and uncomfortable 3 The bathrooms are not maintained and there are traces of dirt in the toilets 4 The carpets and floors are dirty. 5 We stayed for 5 nights and there is a broken elevator and the second one is working. Can you imagine standing in line to go up to your room? Yes, this is what happened. 6 Room service has a specific time and they only work during these times, as if they are telling you that you should only be hungry whenever we are working! Also the restaurant the same! 7 Breakfast in a hotel like this is very, very crowded. The variety should be greater than what we saw. The varieties are few and the taste is not good. I paid around 2700€ for 5 nights at this hotel and i will not try it again even if its free.

Room and bathroom are quite outdated, breakfast was poor with limited options and long queues. The hotel requires some major renovation works as it seems like nothing has been done since it was first built.

The room was clean and spacious. Our room overlooked the courtyard.

The buffet was poor with no ice cream or treats for the children. Other disney hotels have candy floss machine, ice cream machine, etc. The breakfast was also lacking with no baked beans or fried egg. The swimming pool was freezing cold and pretty much unusable. There was no amenities for the children to play on in pool. ( eg floats, inflatables )
