    We had a mixed experience staying at Explorers Hotel Marne-la-Vallée. The hotel is in a great location for Disneyland Paris, with the short journey to the parks making it a convenient choice, especially when travelling with children. The hotel has a fantastic family-friendly atmosphere, with plenty to keep children entertained. The pirate-themed décor and swimming pool were a big hit. However, we felt that the swimming pool was a little too deep, particularly as most of the children using it seemed to be under 7 years old. The shallow section was also quite small and could definitely have been much bigger. A larger shallow area would make the pool much more suitable for younger children. Another disappointment was having to pay €2 per person to hire a swimming towel. Considering the cost of staying at the hotel per night, we felt this was unnecessary and quite ridiculous. Pool towels should really be included, especially at a hotel aimed primarily at families. The room itself was comfortable and spacious enough for the family, but there was no air conditioning, which was quite a surprise. Considering the price of the hotel, we expected air conditioning to be a fairly basic facility, particularly during warmer weather. Even some basic two-star hotels provide air conditioning, so this was disappointing. The room cleaning was also quite basic, and more generally, the hotel could really benefit from a proper deep clean. There were areas and facilities that looked like they had not had a thorough clean for some time. Given the price paid per night, we expected a higher standard of cleanliness. The breakfast was another major disappointment. We found the standard breakfast offering quite poor, with limited choice and not the quality we would expect for the price of the hotel. What was particularly disappointing was that the hot breakfast options were an additional paid extra. For a family hotel charging a fairly high price per night, we felt that a decent hot breakfast should have been included rather than being offered as an additional cost. The staff were generally friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and the hotel's location is definitely one of its biggest advantages. Overall, Explorers Hotel is a convenient option for families visiting Disneyland Paris, but considering the price per night, we felt there were too many additional costs and areas where the hotel could do better. The swimming pool needs a larger shallow section, pool towels should be included, the rooms and hotel need a proper deep clean, air conditioning would be a welcome basic facility, and the breakfast offering could be significantly improved.     Rooms without A/C, no windows for the toilet or bathroom. For a family of 6 is not ideal. Prices to eat using the facilities is too high for what is offered. When breakfast included, they offer the minimum. If you want to eat a hot breakfast you have to pay extra! If you make your reservation with a 3rd party, parking is not free!!! Even to leave your luggage while waiting for your room, you must pay. The swimming pool should have been more too much hair and bits in the water and around it! On another note, the location is good, facilities is nice in general

    Hotel location is not far from Disneyland , they have a shuttle bus that takes you there, but coming back at evening was nightmare as the shuttle bus takes back 4 different groups of hotels. Hotel facilities is good for family with kids. However the rooms were not cleaned and had strong smell. I guess you get what you pay for!
