Close to the tram stops for getting into the city centre.
The extra overhead bed… constantly cautious of my moving around the room after banging my head on the third bed

Everything went ok the first night. Hotel as expected from pictures. Room was quiet.
During the second night there was a constant noise in my room that came from the adjacent wall. I don't know if there was a laundry room right next to mine, or something similar, but I couldn't sleep at all.

Was not clean, tiny rooms and very very basic. An old lady working called Suzanna/Suzanne was very rude and impolite. My vehicle had broken down, asked to leave luggage for half an hour as I was travelling alone and didn’t want to drag a 40kilo suitcase across town. I told her my situation and she clearly had no empathy and a straight no. As a guest in the country, alone and in a very hard situation a person would expect kindness and empathy, very disappointed. There was another young receptionist who was very welcoming and polite.

as expected, small room at budget price, all OK.
No dog friendly area for breakfast so we didn't have breakfast.
There was only one towel in the room for 3 people (but I went to ask for more and got some)
Difficult to find the only nearby dog friendly restaurant but it was good (First Grill)

Mattress was comfortable and secure parking to make you feel safe.
Pillows were awful, very uncomfortable too lumpy, hard to get my head and neck comfortable . The gate was not lit, so trying to input the security code was difficult, light only came on once code was accepted!

Room was a nice size, clean and comfortable
8.0 / 10.0
Rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was simple but had everything you needed.
It's minor but despite being a room for 3 we were only given 2 towels. This wouldn't have been an issue apart from reception closed at 9.

Very good

Convenient location, easy parking.
A cheap option should mean basic but clean and practical. This had broken toilet seats, showers you couldn't move in without hitting the tap and turning the hot up, extractors that didnt work and all a bit tired and dusty. The bed was too small for a 6ft man to be comfortable in.

Parking available. Bed linen was clean.
The rooms are extremely small so it is a struggle to get around the beds.
The bathroom/shower cubicle is smaller than the one in my motorhome. An overweight person may find it too small and knocking the shower tap lever a small amount meant that the water could jump to very hot very quickly. The toilet is very close to the door so when sitting if you need to bend forward to maintain balance then you hit your head on the door.
The toilet seat was only attached by one hinge. The toilet tissue was so thin it had to be doubled over twice to make it anything close to a normal roll. The shower gel is a bonus but only if you did not bring your own soap luckily we had our own. No reading lamps so it was a case of all lights on or none. The lighting was reasonably bright which was a bonus.
The towels had seen better days probably well used. If this hotel had been cheaper I may have understood but I consider it poor value compared with others.

It was convenient with parking and mostly was simple to check in and out, and the price point was good.
It was just a basic room to put our head down for the night. We also stayed in another of these on the way through France a week earlier and found a hair in my bed so that was off putting. Their checking in system ( a machine on the wall that issues the keys if staff have gone home) charged us again although it was prepaid with Booking.com. We then had to get a refund which short changed us by about £3 quid during the conversion from euros back to pounds. Therefore, I was disappointed that I had to pay twice and await a refund. The decor of both these places was very dated and basic. There are ashtrays built into the sinks? 1970's maybe lol. But this ticked a box and would stay again for the convenience but its not the Ritz.

Great location for where we needed to stop at a good price
Hard to find hotel access and parking in dark. Reception closes at 9pm regardless of amount of people standing in queue to check in,, you get sent out to a machine outside that didn't work,, so needed resetting by the staff inside that wouldn't serve past 9,, once checked in the key issued wouldn't let you in the front door,, so again had to call for the person (still behind reception) to come round to let you in!! Whole check in process took about 30mins
