Aparthotel Adagio Access La Défense - Léonard De Vinci

I appreciated the hotel's location, situated just 13 minutes from the center of La Défense, which made it convenient to visit the shopping mall or take the RER/Metro to explore Paris. Additionally, the reception staff were pleasant and welcoming.

I stayed in room 112 on the first floor, and unfortunately, I encountered several issues: The air conditioning was extremely weak, making the room uncomfortably cold. I had to wear extra layers to stay warm at night, and it was particularly difficult to undress and shower in such a cold environment. The shower water temperature was problematic, it would become progressively colder within 5 minutes maximum, turning completely cold and making showering very challenging. The flooring appeared to be made of fabric that easily captured dust, which significantly worsened my allergies and caused me to struggle during the nights. I also noticed dust and trash pushed under the refrigerator and the adjacent drawers. Room cleaning is only scheduled once per week, and I received no advance notice of when it would occur. On Sunday morning, the cleaning staff knocked on my door. When I explained I wasn't ready and asked if she could return in 30 minutes, she told me I had to either let her clean within 10 minutes (after she finished the neighboring room) or my room wouldn't be cleaned for the entire week. I went downstairs for coffee, and she returned in less than 10 minutes. Upon checking my room, I discovered she had only changed the trash bags, toilet paper, bed sheets, and towels. The floor was not vacuumed, and neither the bathroom nor shower were cleaned. I was very disappointed. This stay was meant to be a relaxing vacation for me, but I was woken up early every morning at 7-8 AM many times by noise coming from either the back or above room 112, which was extremely annoying, especially in a place where you're paying to rest. (I'm unsure if the hotel is responsible for this, but I wanted to mention it.) Finally, a minor but noteworthy point: this is my first time staying at a hotel without a power outlet near the bed, which meant I had to charge my phone elsewhere in the room before being able to use it comfortably in bed at night.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights, and on our third night, we requested to have our room cleaned. To our surprise, we were informed that housekeeping is only provided for stays of 8 nights or more. If we wanted the room cleaned, we would have to pay an additional fee. We found this policy quite unusual, especially since we expected basic housekeeping to be included during our stay.

Because the hotel is located next to tall buildings and through numerous tunnels, GPS signal loss is common. Paris's roads are very unstable too, so the hotel's address is so difficult to find. This is something anyone planning to stay in should be aware of. The hotel room was extremely hot and stuffy. There was a strong odor when the windows were closed, and the door and bathroom furniture were starting to fall apart from wear and tear.

Upon arrival, I found the kitchen to be somewhat cramped and situated at the entrance of the room, which may pose a challenge for accessing the space comfortably. Furthermore, I have noticed that the refrigerator is producing an unacceptable level of noise, disrupting the overall quiet ambiance of the room. Additionally, I would like to bring to your attention that the toilet is inconveniently located close to the parents' bed, which may prove to be an issue for their comfort. It is also worth noting that there is no air conditioning unit installed in the room, leading to an uncomfortable temperature environment. Furthermore, the presence of mosquitoes (Moustique) in the room has been a nuisance. In general, I am disappointed with the current state of my accommodation, and I kindly request that these issues be addressed as soon as possible.

The room was boiling hot (no air con), the fan provided made a loud noise, the room was dirty, the bathroom smelled, the breakfast room is tiny.

Location is great, room was okay. Bathroom very small and old. Great value for money, its impossible to get anything better for the price.

Nothing other than the location, I even wanted to cancel my stay as soon as I arrived and the staff the ladies at the reception were cold.

Overall the hotel is pretty outdated and in need of renovation. The rooms are very simple and the walls are black in the corners. Bathroom is old, small and basic. I did not use the kitchen in the room, it wasn't very inviting. My studio has not been cleaned in the 4 days I stayed there. It was not a comfortable stay and I won't be returning. At the end of a long days work, I did not enjoy returning to this hotel.
