What’s not to love 😀 it was by far the best place we stayed on our trip in Scotland, we could happily have stayed longer. The food and wine supplied was a very nice touch and much appreciated. Good views across the Loch. Highly recommended.

The step into the shower over the high sided bath is not ideal, it wasn’t a problem for us but if you have a mobility issue it could be.

Who knew a 5 and a half hour drive from Glasgow would be THAT rewarding.

The cleanliness was incredible, everything was thought through to every single detail! Location is 5 mins from the best hiking spot - the old man of Storr, 5 mins up from there - the views are jaw dropping! And you are 8 mins from Portree.

Highly recommend the Storr Apartments.

The Storr Apartments exceeded our expectations. The apartment was beautiful and spacious with contemporary furnishings. The view from our windows was amazing. We even had a close up view of cows from our kitchen window! Fiona provided lots of extras! From a comfy robe to delicious snacks and even a bottle of wine. Portree is not a walking distance, but we had no trouble finding a taxi. Fiona left a list of drivers to call.

Very clean, nicely decorated and nice welcome gift by the host.

Bathroom shower - having a shower inside a Soaking Tub -- makes VERY difficult to get in and out. Price - overpriced for a studio.

Location is fantastic. Directly by a lake, between Portree and the old man of storr. It is all new renovated. Very stylish and comfortable. Everything you need is there and is of high quality. Even Alexa is there to use.

It can be tricky to park the car as it is a busy road at times. I recommend to back the car in so you will have it easier to drive away.

Horrible.

All the facilities were the high quality, really first class. Very well maintained.

We stayed in Fada unit. There were millions of biting midges, particularly around that unit, making it a horrible experience when entering or leaving the apartment. Opening the car door would let thousands of them in. And they bite, mosquitos in comparison are really nothing. To make it worse, my wife developed an allergy to their bites, a real disaster. The unit lacked A/C, we could not even open the windows. The fan (probably there to compensate for that?) helped to survive the nights. In the name of a basic honesty, the owner should make everyone aware about that major nuisance.

This Is A Great Place

What a beautiful apartment! The bed was the most comfortable that we had during our 2 weeks in Scotland. The kitchen was well stocked with milk, eggs, bagels, wine and much more. We highly recommend!

Wi-Fi was a bit tricky, but eventually we figured it out.

Storr Apartments are a perfect place to stay while visiting Skye and Fiona is the perfect hostess.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Storr Apartments. I have nothing negative to say about the place. The location was great - beautiful and peaceful and within site of the Old Man of Storr formation. The accommodations were superb, well-designed, imaginative, and relaxing. The place was well-stocked for breakfast the following morning and also with numerous snacks and even a good bottle of wine. We got rained out one of our days and the Storr Apartment was the perfect place to hole up for the day, dine in, drink wine, and just enjoy the perfect shelter from the storm. We would not hesitate to stay there again. Thank you Fiona for a wonderful place to stay while visiting the Isle of Skye.

Wonderful stay on the Isle of Skye

The Storr Apartments was our favorite place to stay on our 19 day trip throughout Great Britain. It was in a great location to explore the Isle of Skye - just 10 minutes from Portree and five minutes to the Old Man of Storr. The apartment was beautifully appointed and the refrigerator was stocked with essential items (eggs, cheese, bread, coffee, tea and treats) for our three night stay. We loved it and highly recommend staying there.

This was my favourite place to stay on my trip. All the little details. The robes, towels, the bed, the entire apartment was so cozy I loved coming back here at the end if each day, having a lovely bath. Washing machine was a massive bonus.

One of the best places we stayed in Scotland!

Beautifully decorated, and great location about 3.5 miles north of Portee on way to Old Man of Storr. Loved all the provisions Fiona left. She was super responsive. Best thing was a separate washer and dryer and the dryer actually dried our clothes. After traveling around Scotland for over a week, it was nice to be able to do a load of laundry in less than 4 hours. Highly recommend Fiona’s place!

Beautiful property in an amazing location, very close to Portree but still feels remote and beautiful. Our host was great and very understanding. I made a mistake in my booking, and despite it being completely my fault, she was very happy to accommodate our request and we had an incredible stay. Thank you!!

Exceptional

Upon entering the house, we were immediately struck by its stunning beauty. There was a thoughtfully prepared breakfast kit, a bottle of wine, and the perfect ambiance with lights and music. They even greeted us with a personalized welcome board that made us feel truly special. The atmosphere felt very warm and welcoming! Having a car is essential to fully explore the island, and luckily, this house is conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from Portree. Throughout our stay, the host was very accessible and responsive. Always there to assist us with anything we needed, which made our experience even better. All in all, our time in this house was absolutely amazing. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay on the island. Best wishes to you, Dan, and Ana.

Our stay was an Amazing experience! We booked last night after our ferry got cancelled and got to the apartment half an hour later. Everything was ready and clean! We even found food in the fridge, which was a lovely surprise after a long day journy.
