Perfect location, quick response in communication, but... You know, little things can turn everything around!

Perfect location

When I shared about a clogged sink in one bathroom, about a falling handle in the other bathroom, I was confident that they would be fixed by maintenance the next day, but nothing was fixed by the end of our stay, there was no adequate blanket for our little child, because the room we were in was noticeably colder than the others, and there was also no way to fresh air it.

Everything was wonderful! We booked a three-bedroom apartment, and it was perfect for our group (4 adults and 3 children). The apartment was spacious, beautiful, and clean, located on a quiet street. Everything was excellent!

A recommendation for the owners or those managing the apartment: please clean the dishwasher, as the dishes remain dirty after washing.

Perfect family apartment in the centre of Valencia

The apartment was bright, well decorated, kitchen is equipped very nicely, we had everything we needed, it was very clean, apartment was big and comfy, good location.

The walls are very thin so it was loud at night, the hot water in the bathrooms gets wasted pretty quickly, the lock on the apartment door is useless, a proper lock should be put on the door. Other than that, we had an amazing stay.

The furniture is outdated and there is poor sound insulation. You won't sleep at night due to noise from neighbours and the street.

It looks better on photos than in reality,like it's not the same apartment. It wasn't clean enought. Host was always available. Location is very good.

Ample rooms but noise from outside impacted our sleep.

Centrally located near the train station on a one way street in a neighborhood. Easy enough to get around. Ample Rooms were well appointed and clean. AC worked well, but was a bit complicated to start up--at least not intuitive for me. Well appointed but definitely needs a refresh.

There were several maintenance issues that someone should have fixed before our arrival. Both toilets ran, one so much that the water was turned off when we arrived. There was an extraordinary amount of street noise, especially at 6 AM. It seems that the street cleaners meet in front of the apt for their shift and have loud conversations. There's also a lot of construction going on in the neighborhood which started at 8AM.

Definitely not recommended

The location of the property is great

We need to do this review about the check in process because it was awful ! First they sent a message through whatsapp with the form to do the check in online and a link to an external website asking for the deposit of 200€!! I had to contact booking customer service to be sure about those conditions... In fact the deposit is mentioned in the accommodation description - the missing part is the amount. They argue that this deposit is in case of damage. So when you do the online Check in you can see all conditions of the contract, including to report any issue in 24h after check in. My honest advice : take a video or photos of the apartment when you take your first step inside and inform them if anything looks wrong. Record a video BEFORE LEAVING so you have evidences of the status you are leaving in the apartment.

Cute little room that had everything we needed! Location was pretty good. Near some cool, hip bars and restaurants. Easy to get around if you're happy to walk.

Good location and easy to access, good luggage storage.

Was told to check in at 4pm/ arrived at 4:10 and our room was not ready even though we had contacted the property at 11am and they said our room was currently being cleaned. Property didn’t care that we had to wait and didn’t give any compensation.

Excellent stay ! The palace is amazing , super clean and comfortable , the only thing missing would be the Nespresso capsules for the machine , you could add some capsules so guest could enjoy the coffee , but the place is superb !

Not enjoyable. Sleep, breakfast and leave for the day.

Location, Russafa the neighbourhood has all the amenities, supermarkets, bars and restaurants around the corner. Walking distance to the train station. The kitchen with all the essentials , kettle, toaster, caffe maker, iron… spotless. Service customer easy to reach.

The bathroom was not clean, the room has humidity spots and smells, ants and one cockroach the size of my finger. The towels have seen better days. Other guests were loud not easy to sleep. Lack of privacy because our window was facing another, we were always with the curtains closed.

Very good

Spacious, modern, tastefully decorated, comfortable bed. Good location in Russafa....close to restaurants and bars. 10 min walk to city centre. Parking in Russafa side streets has recently been changed from white ( free) to red (residents only). Car park directly opposite apartment is €22 per day. Blue (paid) parking around the corner in C. de les Filipines....easy to find a space.

Our ground floor apartment had very little sound proofing. Noise from the lift and corridor outside, but much worse we could hear everything from the apartment above....footsteps, every movement of furniture, shower etc. We spent most of one night awake because the people above were moving around until about 5am. Also a very annoying background 'hum' which we couldn't pin point. 6 seconds on 2 seconds off.....constantly. Such a shame because the apartment itself was really nice.

The apartment was charming, spacious, clean and well located.

The check in system was abysmal. I think it was particularly bad for us as we were due to check in on a Sunday. In the days prior to arrival we started getting bombarded with automated messages with instructions on how to checkin. However because it was the weekend there were no staff to respond to emails, booking.com messaging, phone lines etc. So it was confusing and stressful and not a welcoming start. In fact at no stage was there any human contact. This system really needs sorting out as I wouldn't choose to do it again and wouldn't recommend unless you fancy a reverse escape room experience! However we did checkin fine and the apartment is very beautiful. The kitchen is missing some basic essentials to fix breakfast...no chopping board and no frying pan. There was nothing to make coffee unless you brought pods with you but the cleaner upstairs very graciously found us a brand new cafetiere from somewhere. Regarding noise we were lucky as we weren't staying on a Friday or Saturday. But you can hear between the floors and walls. We could hear quite a lot of intimate noises from above but found once we had some low music on we weren't disturbed. We also received our 200 Euro deposit back after 7 days without any fuss.

lovely modern spacious accommodation in a vibrant central Valencian district

Really nice flat, spacious and well furnished. Great location, really close to the main station and metros and old town. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity and in a trendy well maintained community. Great place to explore the delightful city of Valenica!

Flats were really good. My only gripe which stopped it getting top marks is one of the bedrooms had a partition wall to the next apartment. I could hear loud snoring and talking during the night a couple of times :( Apart from that was great.

Exceptional

Location (near the city center, Sorolla and Valencia Nord train stations), overall the apartment is fantastic. The place was spotless. The communication with the hosts was very easy via email and whatsapp. The payment process was not very intuitive through a link received via sms but when double checking with the hosts they replied very fast.

The beds werent very comfortable for spending more than a couple days.

The quality of the apartment is not the problem...

The service of SingularStays is very disappointing and not what you might expect. It took me 2,5 weeks to receive my deposit back. What is frustrating is that they did not reply to my polite messages.
