Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The cottage is well located to explore the surrounding coast and allows easy access to great walking, both along the coastal path and also some loveley inland walks through woodlands and over the North Yorkshire Moors. A good Co-Op was nearby and the fishing village of Staithes is lovely. The road up to Staithes, and then down into Staithes is quite steep so not so good if anyone has mobility issues. A great pub was just a couple hundred yards away, The Fox & Hounds. Very friendly and with a very cosy lounge area with proper sofas and a log burner. Excellent food and beer to. We also ate at the Cod and Lobster on the front in Staithes. A large and varied menu with excellent food and drink (huge gin choice with about 140 gins!)
To find fault would be being picky so nothing to dislike for me.

Postbox cottage was easy to find and offers parking outside. The hosts are very friendly and extremely helpful.The cottage itself is modern, well appointed, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It is located in a beautiful hamlet with a charming and welcoming country pub only about 100 meters away. There are cliff top walks nearby and it's only a few minutes walk to the picturesque village of Staithes. It's also only a few minutes drive to fascinating town of Whitby.
