The cleanliness let the property down, smell of stale urine from downstairs bathroom as soon as you step into the house and all the downstairs floors felt sticky.

A lovely place with nice decor. Excellent location with several pubs nearby serving local sea food and picturesque views on top of the cliffs. Sea view from the bedroom makes a great start of the day. Seagulls apparently made a nest on the roof under the seaside window and we could see the younglings walking on top of the kitchen.

Seagulls are loud and scream in the night. The windows looking at the sea and on top of the kitchen need cleaning. It was cold during our stay although the provided extra electrical heaters helped.

Self catering cottage was very nice and was equipped with most of what you'd need. In a stunning location. Cleanliness very good.

Stairs were a bit tricky at times but that's to be expected in the style of cottage that Broomhill View is. You've just got to take your time and be extra careful going up and coming down them.

Adorable house, spotless clean,amazing food in the pubs, lovely shops, already thinking of our next trip.

Not that I didn't like, but the key code went into spam and into a folder, e where already a day late because of personal issues, I'm badly dyslexic and took a while to find it ,

the bathroom was downstairs which I didn’t mind but my 60 year old mum found off putting at night - two flights of stairs to the bathroom.

Lovely olde worlde cottage, felt like being in a little piece of Staithes history. It was cosy and comfortable and close to the beach and pubs.

Fantastic location, comfy beds, good shower and kitchen facilities. Very easy to deal with the host and communication was clear.

Would have been nice to have hand soap in the bathroom and more loo roll. Might also have been good to have basic salt & pepper etc in the kitchen.

Exceptionally clean. All rooms were nicely decorated. They had thought of things that guests may forget. ( bottle opener, cling film , kitchen roll etc)

Had no idea how low the staircase and other parts of the building were. ( Our 6’4” son would have struggled) maybe let people know ? A bigger TV downstairs would have been a bonus. No fire escape . Would definitely stay again though. Have stayed at a different cottage in the village a few years back, which was dreadful

Cute little cottage in fabulous seaside village. Close to facilities and in great location.

Great location, had everything we needed.

Cottage was cold on arrival and took ages to warm up with storage heaters. Would have been nice to have been turned up before we arrived and had some supplies to make up a fire, especially in February.
