Comfortable and welcoming

Absolutely lovely cottage with everything needed for a comfortable stay, right in the heart of Staithes. Well equipped kitchen/living area with wood burning stove, cosy bedrooms and plenty of space. Hosts were welcoming and helpful, and supplied a generous starter pack of logs and kindling. This property would particularly suit an older family: with two sitting rooms, meaning two TVs, separate porch for coats and boots, plus an outdoor seating area

Only slightly annoying thing was bathwater took a long time to run, very slight niggle. Be careful of the low beams on top floor stairs too, although the stairs were easier than many old cottages.

A Little slice of tranquility!

The property was stunning and centrally located close to the main area of Staithes, the area in general was beautiful and genuinely gave you the time to switch off and just enjoy the surroundings with family. I would alike the property and location to a little slice of happiness!

Nothing at all, if I was being overly critical my only observation rather than dislike would be the rather firm mattress in the double room, however this is more personal preference.

Absolutely everything. I've stayed in a few places in staithes and this is by far the best. Everything was perfect. Colin and marina have really gone to town to think of everything

Great cottage

Tinakori was clean, cosy and comfortable. All very welcoming

We had to take towels - who wants to be lugging bulky towels on holiday? The staircase was so steep - the top of the house was unaccessible to my husband who has knee trouble. No dishwasher - first cottage we'd stayed in for sometime without one. You can't park near the cottage and have to leave your car at the top of the steep hill in the public carpark

Tinikori Staithes

Lovely location. House was very clean plenty of room.. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The proprietor was great in giving us a lift down from carpark to house when we arrived. Staithes is,a lovely picturesque village. Everyone very friendly.

I assumed there would be towels u fortunately there wasn't so had to get some. We didn't get any information on where to obtain the keys from or the proprietors phone numbers amd had to ring booking.com toi find out. A few days after, we got back the email came through which we should have had prior to us going.

Love this place

Absolutely love this place. We have stayed a few times now and couldn't ask for anywhere nicer. Staithes is a beautiful, peaceful fishing village. The Cod and Lobster is a must but book in advance if you can.

Love Staiths

Good location. Parking pass much appreciated. Lots of steps and hills so not for the less mobile. Great walks and easy access to some lovely places. Have stayed in this cottage before and would definitely stay again.

Loading and unloading can be an issue but its manageable

Fabulous

Lovely cottage in the beautiful village of Staiths. Good location, 3 pubs and the beach close by. The steps to the cottage are quite steep but there is a pathway that leads to the bottom of the hill so you don't need to climb the steps, although this cottage and indeed this village are not for the less mobile but this is stated in the details. I would love to stay here again there are so many lovely places to visit close by... Robbin Hoods bay, Whitby, Saltburn to name but a few. Nothing bad to say about this property, location or the owners.

There was nothing not to like except for the owner of The George Pub who was quite rude.
