perfect and cute

Overall excellent apartment everything was neat and clean. All well equipped.

Had fun and enjoyed Edinburgh. I love this city.

The inside is modern with all that you might need, e.g., a washing machine, microwave, dishwasher, iron and board, etc. The location is only 20-min drive from the centre of the city, and you can take the bus for about 30 min. Around the corner there is a roundabout with corner shops, takeaways and delivery. Parking in front of the building is free. The street is quiet. All in all, very suitable for the short stays to visit Edinburgh. We had fun and enjoyed our stay.

Short stop after a few days walking in highlands

We needed accommodation for an overnight stay after a few days walking trip. The property was ideal for the group to enjoy a night in Edinburgh, recuperate after walk, and the drive to airport. Excellent facilities and quiet area, we jumped in an uber to take us to old town and back

This apartment exceeded our expectations regarding location and hosts. It was central and just around the corner from the 22 bus that took us to downtown in 18 minutes. No parking expenses and able to enjoy whiskey at the pubs on Rose St. - a local spot recommended by Graham. He was so friendly, patient and helpful. We arrived 5 hours late for check-in and he was nothing but kind and understanding. Very quick with responses to questions. He sent small videos of how to adjust the heating and one window. There is a round-about around the corner with a great breakfast place called Sitooterie. I had the steak and eggs - tender. The Stenhouse Take-Away had kind staff and hot food for a late night. Mr. Shawarma, 538 Gorgie Rd, was less than a mile walk and the food was still hot by the time I got home. The apartment was just what we needed, two bedrooms for two ladies. We spent a few morning and nights with all our maps and notes laid out, sipping tea and shortbread and planning for the next day. The kitchen had everything you would need for a short visit with dishware, utensils and basics like salt, sugar and of course - tea! 2 kinds. The bathroom was small but squeaky clean and with plenty of hot water. The beds were comfy, clean and the rooms were quiet. Everything you are hoping for. My only problem was that the sofa was too comfy and made it hard to get back out and enjoy wonderful Edinburgh. Edinburgh was our first stop on a two week trip. This experience was the perfect memory. Stop looking. Stay here!

Not much of anything. The place isn't brand new and had some funny traits, but not faults. The kitchen light switch was behind the door when it was open - no biggy. There are lots of sockets for charging to the left of the tv, so I just moved a chair and put the devices on that. In the master bedroom, the mirrored doors would boom so I just left them open in the middle and used the drawers that way - easy. It felt very homey and comfortable.

Would recommend and stay again

The property was nicely decorated, it felt fresh and very clean. The access to nearby shops, public transport and free parking was handy. Sofas were comfortable and the whole apartment was extremely spacious. Really easy to access and clearly a well loved apartment.

The main bedroom bed was very uncomfortable. You could feel the bedframe through the mattress. Unsure if the nest in the kitchen was linked to owners phone for security purposes.

booked the property for 7 nights for 2 people for the majority of the trip. for one of the nights we had an additional 2 guests. didn’t think this would be a problem as the property fits 4 people. once I check out the owner then messaged me trying to make a deal and charge me £100 for the additional 2 guests for 1 night. he wanted a good review and £100. I said no so he tried to get me to pay £200 additional. no where on the booking stated that I would be charged for additional 2 guests for one night. booking.com then sided with me and I won’t be charged. the property it’s self has great potential. however it is not clean. very dusty, all the plates and glasses were dirty in the cupboards m, it all needed a good clean before using. the property has an awful smell which I think comes from the neighbour. the owner tries to mask this with plug in air fresheners.

Well-appointed and located

Nicely appointed flat with everything you need for self-catering. Well located in the suburbs on the 22 bus which runs every 10-15 minutes and takes you through the center of Edinburgh to the Ocean Terminal where the Royal Yacht Britannia (really worth a visit) is moored.

La qualité de l’appartement dans son ensemble. Les hôtes sont très sympas et à l’écoute de nos besoins et attentes. L’accès est simple et le bus permet de rejoindre Old Town en quelques minutes.
